I see Deloss has issued his town crier another missive...

Sources reiterated on Saturday that Texas appears willing to make some concessions to try and hold the league together. Orangebloods.com reported on Friday that sources indicate Texas is supportive of equal revenue sharing from the league's Tier 1 television deal with ABC/ESPN.

But that doesn't necessarily help OU from a financial standpoint. In fact, it probably hurts the Sooners.

OU is already one of the haves in the Big 12 when it comes to making more money from the Tier 1 contract (which pays the most to those who appear the most on TV). So sharing that revenue equally would probably mean a reduction in TV revenue for OU.

You are so generous Mr. Dodd. Mankind is so much better for your contributions. I wonder if you would ever consider sharing your third tier rights...

Washington Huskies have won 6 straight, which is more to my tastes. Also, SEC is their usual nasty self! LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, MS St, Auburn, SC, FL should all be tough. Then teams like TN, GA, and maybe MS to bowls. Vandy is much improved as well. KY is a basketball school, haha.

You coming to Lincoln? I don't see how Huskers cover 17.5 points when they can't even remotely stop the running game right now.

I'd love to bring a little purple to the "Sea of Red". As I mentioned earlier, NU fans are second to none, so the whole thing would be a great experience. Can't right now but perhaps in the future. Are you going?

NU fans are not second to none if you are a Longhorn. They used to be the classiest fans in town. I guess it is easy to be classy when you are destroying everyone. Funny how that works.

I could see anything from 5-7 to 8-4. Depending on what kind of QB play they get from here on out.

They were pretty classy at Kyle in defeat, well, maybe not their coaches, but the fans definitely were. Ags and Huskers are the best fans bar none.

Out of 50,000 students there are bound to be a few knuckleheads.

They have been known to give standing O's to visitors if the opposing team puts on a clinic. I went back in 1991 when Washington played Nebraska. That was the 12-0 National Champion Husky squad. We got an ovation that lasted about 30 seconds after the game as the Big Red fans appreciated the excellent play. My dad has been to games there and he said he's witnessed it before too. He's a HUGE UT fan but fully agrees about the NU fans. NU admin and coaches don't get the same accolades, but great fans; Knowledgeable too

Yes I will be and I was able to get tix's for my 'silent' partner jebby. Looks like the weather will be good. Should be interesting game as I have far more doubts now then I did 6 months ago. Washington could be 2-1 in the last year for the series if Bo doesn't get some things resolved.

I had a lot of respect for you guys after that game. You guys are happy you won and I wouldn't expect you guys to take it back, but the fans acknowledged how horribly officiated the game was. That's all I needed to hear from the people I talked to because they get it. I have never spoken ill will towards that game because of the Aggie fan base. Win or lose, it is always about respect.

I would put OU up there too, especially the old timers. Win or lose they always respected you. They may have won more battles on the field of play then we did, but they always respected us. You could go down to Norman, have a beer with one of their fans, and talk football. Lots of banter during the game, but once it was over, you didn't have to worry about your car being upside down on fire or flying bottles bouncing off your head. The other thing that was cool this season, was Barry Switzer making a thirty second public announcement right before our kickoff with UCT congratulating us and our history and wishing us the best in the B1G. Once again, respect.

Unfortunately, one team in the B12 will never earn that, because they don't know how to.
