You do this and there are going to be a lot of PF's that are now null. I do not think that a GLB guide should be implemented because it will take the fun out of dot building if you know what to do from the get go.

why should people in a Private Forum have an advantage. This is about leveling the playing field and helping GLB player base build better dots. Which promotes competition and league parity.

Anyone who as a better description then me I will add it to the first post, I am wondering if everyone knows exactly what this is.

I just think this is a tool for sub-par builders who are looking for a short cut.

At least this argument sounds valid, but how is it a short cut? Also, what's the difference between having one that is official vs. people just being able to use the script?

And puts everyone on a level playing field.
Only people with Greasemonkey can use it now. No way a noob or beginner gets finds out about the VPB right away
Right. So basically, the clowns that don't want this have some delusions of grandeur and are a godlike dot builder in their own minds. They don't want to share their godlike abilities with new players. Personally, I'd much rather have nearly every dot built be acceptable for WL/Pro. That's the number one way to create better competition - teach the morons how to build better dots instead of the shitty ones that constantly form teams and lose by 255 points.
This exactly, it's a fucking game, being an uber dot builder will never get you laid so who fucking cares.

The difference is and I am not sure why everyone does not get this.... If it is available to all then it will help even the playing field some. Right now only the die-hard people take the time to Greasemonkey it. This would not hurt GLB in any way shape or form. The only thing it would do it help improve the quality of builders and the planning they do.

so let's just make every1 equal , take out the part in GLBs advertising that says " Train your player from the ground up to be the type of player you want", because let's face it , if you don't have the most optimal build that was designed from a "player builder" no 1 is gonna recruit or sign you.
so let GLB just give you a premium built dot and start from there. and just say , ok game plan and win.- wait, then some1 is gonna ask to have a "Game Plan Creator" to call the best plays at every instance. so what, scores will all end in a 0-0 tie?
YES LET'S DO IT!! everybody wins and gets a trophy. just like the Special Olympics, "we are all winners!"
part of the fun of this game is to learn from mistakes and try again. "oops i fucked up this dot, i gotta retire it and start over."
i have never used the script (and before any1 says "by looking at your dots, maybe you should have". i never claimed to be an expert dot builder.) but i learn each time i do it and try to get better. is that not part of this game? i think it will get a little boring if everything is done for you and every1 is the same.
if anything, i think GLB should find a way to combat the script and make things more random and make people actually use their brain to get better.
i love the "training breakthroughs" because it does help keep every1 from having the same exact build and build plan. it gives people a reason to pay attention to their dot and adjust accordingly. there should be more things like it to keep every1 from having a "cookie cutter build"

Problem is there is a high dollar investment, might as well give every chance.
No way will everyone win, tactics and Gming helps set teams apart as well. 150-3 is not fun there will be less of that if there are more good dots.
Just because you use the player builder to do something does not make you build cookie cutter dots it allows you to take wild theories and turn them into real dots that could be playable in the sim. It also exponentially increases the amount of good dots in GLB which will make competition better. If people build better dots the game will be more fun. No matter what you do no two builds will be the same. It might help people take a dive in an archetype no one uses.

I don't get why anybody would be against this?
Simming a player build is a great way to try out lots of different options to see what is optimal. It is already happening, but it's clunky and tedious. Nobody is forced to use it. If you don't want to...don't.

Since the game is perfect right now I think we should implement this idea....oh wait

I am pretty sure it is because they do not understand exactly what it is. Others probably want to keep the advantage of using the off site greasemonkey script.
