Luckily the teams that are different from Zeta got to play some games against the current Zeta teams. Even if you give Hali/Hounds/QCBC the 3 wins over Wowi, Gunny and Garudas, (though Wowi could be the best out of any of those teams), it still looks like the current Zeta would be more difficult than that Alpha Conference you hypothesized.

2 straight seasons the predicted stronger conference has been much stronger. Last season's weak conference champion got thrown into last season's strong conference and they're going to miss the playoffs.

I also don't think you can do a whole lot to figure out who will be the top teams before the season starts, though you can usually pick about 4 teams that will reliably be in the top 8.

I do agree that this season looked very lopsided from the beginning, and that turned out to be accurate. It was definitely a pretty wacky draw.



He did just that when he did the first Casual restack. There was one conference that was ALL league champions, and one conference that was ALL runner ups.

Sure it was competitive, but one conference completely destroyed the other when they played outside of the regular season.

Um, that's exactly what I mentioned. 5 of these teams matched up in the first game of the season with a Zeta sweep. But even the way you have it lined up, I'd take Osaka over the Kai, probably HHWC over Monowi, Clash and Hali is a toss-up, Alpine for sure over Hounds, Moose Jaw for sure over Rosarica, Lincoln for sure over LOL, QCBC over Garudas, and Collegetown over Parma. I don't see what your point is. Do you sincerely think the Alpha group is tougher than the zeta group up there?

Is gp1 and other people really arguing that it was a fair draw? Regardless if it was random and just how the cards fell and not even really looking at the niboris thing i think i was pretty obvious that zeta was the better conference before the season started and currently. Not to say that alpha doesn't have good teams or anything. I mean, it's obviously under ufshowboat's skin who is upset that people aren't giving hhwc the respect or something but it's just how it goes. Last season zeta was noticeably the better conference, that one season the conference with valhalla, blaze, tkw, mphd, hali was obviously the best conference. Happens most every season tbh. I'm sure next season one league will be better. With random results, the odds of one conference being a bit better is more likely than perfectly balanced

wow, still with this? You lost to Gurupies who lost to D9... D9 is #3 in alpha and possibly end up at #4. It was the first game of the season. The OOC games ended with 9-7 in favor of Zeta or something like that. You also lost to Smurfs.. And what does all this prove? Absolutely nothing.

Zeta might be slightly better than Alpha, but its not as bad as people make it out to be.

I think it's because Mayan has been in the weaker Conference almost every time, and still barely avoiding relegation every season.
