It was just a bad luck game for us. We had two good luck ones yesterday when we beat NOPW and Final Thought, so can't complain. I still have a good shot at the Silver MVT pending FT looses by 5+ and PWPH looses at all.

As for going Gold next season, if I were in most Silver leagues, I would agree, but I am in the Western Conference of Silver #7, probably the hardest conference in all of Silver, so that path will be very hard...

Is a respectable showing

3-0 and 131-7 is a respectable showing, but If the MVT system works like I think it does, that puts you at 3-0 and +124. Problem is that the Atlantic City Surf are 3-0 and +153. thus they would get the Gold MVT unless one of the other undefeated Gold teams slaughters their Silver team and are able to get more than +153 total.

On the Silver side, Pee Wee Power Hour just has to win to clinch the Silver MVT because they would be the only 2-1 team. If they loose, then it comes down to points, where my Bears are leading with -8. However, if one of the current 0-2 teams slaughters their Gold opponent, then they could take it.

Several round 3 games have been plays, so the main page needs to be updated.

To bad we can't play Surf....I sure would spend 25 flex on it

In my opinion there should be some kind of strength of schedule or matchup consideration. We (Tombstone) got lucky against the Bears, but I'm willing to guess some of the other Gold teams would not have been so lucky. They are the best Silver team in this thing, again, in my opinion.

I thought this was a team thing, if Gold wins as a whole, they all get the award, if Silver wins as a whole, they all get the award. I think awarding one team is wrong since its the gold/silver challenge.

If I understand things, everyone on the winning side gets something, then the MVT on each side do as well. I could be wrong.

We had to play Final Thought and Boston

It is what it is......but just flopping the positions for a match up for only 3 games with NO Championship Game. Leaves this Tourney in doubt with no real clear cut winner, other than Gold beat Silver.

Let me see if I got this right. A tourney was started and a set of rules were put in place. ACS joins tourney and plays the teams we were told to play. ACS had great success in this tourney. Now we have whiners coming out of the woodwork because ACS went 3-0 with a + 153 point differential?

I can guarantee you, had ACS not finished on top or even went 2-1, nobody would have heard one word of complaint from me. God forbid anyone would say, great job ACS representing the Gold team. No, just whining about who played who. You guys need to grow the fuck up. It was a fun tourney and doesn't mean any more than that.

@ Dtown, there was a championship game. Funk Drunkers vs ACS who both were the top ranked teams for round 3. In fact, due to the rule set, win or lose, both teams could've lost their chance at MVT. ACS came thru. Wambulance did not. Now pick up your red flag and try and conduct yourself with a decorum of dignity and class.

Well, I'm not sure who's doing the most "whining" here? I would have beat those three teams you played by 250-300 points! If you had played the Bears, you wouldn't have "represented" the Gold very well. That's a fact! The thought that you actually think you were or deserve the MVT for Gold, is hilarious. But hey, "GREAT JOB"!!!!! There you go since you were looking for a pat on the back. I'm not trying to be a dick, but I also don't appreciate you calling me a whiner, when that's not what I was get at. It was more of a suggestion for the future of this "challenge", since there are some in agreement that it was somewhat flawed.

And you say you're not being a dick? and yes, you were whining. We were teammates in a team oriented tourney. Now after the fact you're having a hissy fit because your team didn't win MVT. I also wasn't looking for a pat on the back. my reference was in contrast to the bitching going on here, and the lack of the usual good sportsmanship that takes place. I could care less about your "great job" comment, especially in the context you gave it.

if you want to make suggestions for the next tourney, then present them in the context of a suggestion. Don't rip me and my team because of random luck in the draw.

Plus you can't consider the MVT as the best Gold team, only the Gold team that had the best performance in this tourney, and luck of the draw does factor into that.
