Was there a warning issued after any of the aforementioned 3 blatant collusion type games in the past?

No...

Nice call back though.

All I said is I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. Just because you guys don't think those kinds of actions "ruin the game" doesn't make it so. Bort will do what he feels is justified.

Luckily Bort is rational unlike 99% of this thread and he is going to fix the problem as opposed to this silly little witch hunt.

Fixing the problem would be removing the individuals who were a part of it, as they've shown all they'll do is cause more trouble down the road. That's all they exist for/hang around for at this point.

What's the problem he's going to fix? Please explain? You guys make it seem like playing players out of position is some flaw with GLB. Im pretty sure the Saints could do that next week and lose 300-0. Hell, I'm sure that can happen in any organized sport. You know what prevents it from happening? Rules and Penalties.

It is quite rational though to make an example of someone to set a precedent and warn others the same will happen should they try again.

You know prevents it from mattering? Adjusting league leader formulas and the impact of playing gutted teams.

I mean, of all the problems the SIM has, setting a depth chart is not one of them. That's a user issue, not a SIM one.

Why allow it in the first place? It's as elementary as not having the sim kick the extra point in OT after a TD.

I asked this one page 1 of the original thread.
Specifically, I asked, "Is there a more specific goal than dealing with instances of 'obvious' lack of respect?"
There were 0 replies.

No, this isnt an isolated issue to the depth chart. It's a continuuous and blatant disregard for rules and integrity. The punishment must be severe!

Yeah i was going to type this too.....how would one fix this? I.E. What game mechanics were broken that allowed this? There will always be loopholes (especially in this game) to exploit to throw games / collude. The only way it gets dealt with is to bring out the hammer.

Again I go back to the Fantasy Football site argument, that everybody conveniently ignored.

ESPN FFL two teams collude, they get tossed. Why should GLB be any different?
