Sounds good to me, and it saves time, that's not being lazy... it's called working smart.

As a Scout and Coordinator. I love this idea I can watch all the opponents games to get a detailed scouting and prepare for the next game. +1

I was thinking about this and it would probably run into some issues with the Basic AI (since there are no real defensive plays configured).
On offense it shouldn't be an issues because the plays are the same right, whether in Basic or Advanced right?
On defense, maybe just have it say "Using Basic Defensive AI" or the actual Play called if there is one. Which would help coordinators also if they are using the advanced AI and it shows the "using Basic" text, they would know that something didn't match any input and can easily find and fix it.

The idea is that if you don't have coordinator privileges for the team(s) in question, you only get to see what formation they're in. You only know the actual play call for a team if you have the appropriate coordinator privileges for that team.

Good idea, added to OP.

Lock this thread and get it onto Bort's list already. There's nothing to talk about.
Its really quite simple and the only point of argument is who gets to see the play name. And the answer to that question has been sanely answered 1000 times.
