And to be honest I think I get where you're coming from; i.e Ice n Fire are so shit who cares if they use the strong i, amiright?

You won't hear me apologising about using the strong i play again and again in this seasons sim.


I've already explained I'm not going to ignore an area where we are built fairly well and the sim appears broken and attack your team in another area where they are stronger than us so you can be more entertained and I have even a 1% less chance of winning the game.

We've done the whole creative ais thing repeatedly [it got us up here] in the PL and have had mediocre seasons as a reward, I want us to have a chance at winning.

Sure I think that if you run the same play more than once/twice in a row the opposition D should have abetter chance of stopping it the next time, and the time after that but don't expect me to abandon strong i with a power back if it's working.

I'm just trying to win and will use whatever gives me the best chance.

For what it's worth I think Meatballs are gonna blow us out of the water.

it doesnt matter. youre in alpha. Mal could be stripped from our team and you would still lose just because youre in alpha.

I am surprised that FDC and jprietman are doing this, because Stockholm were bad asses last year, legit.

Stockholm are defending it with bogus reasons. To win. It's bull because you aren't winning anything. Some fake GLB money and an image. No flex points, no real money, you don't even get your dick sucked.

But the real fun in winning, playing legit, is the community. You get to make your thread, do some friendly bragging, get your congrats and "GG" and all of that shit.

If you win, you lose that...you lose it for a long time. In the seasons to come, if you ever reference season 8 as a champion, you're gonna get flamed like a mother fucker.

You can say you don't care. But we know you don't care already, or you wouldn't be using some shit that allows Mal to run 61 times and never get tired to "win".

On the inverse, quite simply, I don't think many people are going to care that you won. Hollow victory, in my opinion.

But, it's all good. Nothing to cry about. Season 9 should change all of this crap.

that being said, i still dont feel comfortable giftwrapping the title and giving it to ATOIAF when i know our team could still beat them.

if we DIDNT abuse the hell out of Mal, ATOIAF would be playing some other team that has no chance. i think things are better this way, at least for us.

I hope ATOIAF wins for no other reason than to say that we beat the WEPL champs 65-23!

it will be the lowest scoring game of the playoffs, and one runningback is going to do a better job of keeping the ball away from the other runningback. theres nothing Mal will be able to do if he never gets to see the ball, and youve already proven to us that you know how to accomplish that.

this is absolutely true.

It was a lot of fun to watch our game today against I & slam, but if they need a title to feel better about themselves, than give it to them.

Iīm not complianing about I & Slam using the same play 61 timesl, Iīm more dissapointed that they are not able to find more than one play and that they donīt care that there are some people sitting there spending some time with the game and they a ruin their fun.

Iīm not complaining about a RB running the ball 54 times running thorugh 4-5 players on every play and is not tired and not slower than in the first quarter - thatīs not their fault, it is Bort fault and I must think about giving money to a guy that is not able to implement sutch simple things correctly.

Iīm not complainig that I didnīt watched any of the I & slam Offense series after the first 2 and jumped to the next posession when they had the ball, it safed me time

Iīm not complaining about that we had set our HB as primary target 1 and 2, had dumpoffs set to often and our QB throwing the ball to them on 3 out of 15 chances, when they are running wide open on every play. They even choose to throw a deep pass to WR oub from the 4 than dumping it of to the uncovered HB. Here is the same point like above, I must blame Bort for this.

Oh and before any of you super smart guys come out and tell me how many balls our HB catched, the rest where designed HB catches.

Ok, we have 3 timeouts we are in FG range after one play but donīt call any timeouts and let the clock run out. Ok Bort, I can live with the other things, but this bullshit is inexcusable especially in a playoff game against a cheesing team.

So now it is time for me to make a decision about GLB, if Iīm willing to spend my time ( I donīt care about the money) with a game like this. But this will be a decision within the next few days, not for today.

Btw, I didnīt watched anything from the Cheeseballs - Pimps game, I was bored enough from 2 drives of I & slam

In the end I think I will be more proud in setting up a game plan where we donīt exploit the AI, using only 1 time the strong I slam and lost the game due to Borts bullshit timeout logic, than you will get with adding a trophy. But I think this is something you canīt understand.

well I just watched our game, where belfast ran the same exact 3 plays all game and nothing else (strong I slam, strong I OT, shotgun quick slants) and we won. Really exciting game too, watching the same stuff over and over and over. Yay season 8!

I agree with everything else you've been saying in this thread though. I would like to see Graz win it, but there aren't any strong I abusers in alpha like there are in zeta, and they'll be in for a harsh dose of reality if they make the finals against whoever they face, unless they too decide to cheese it.

But alpha does suck.

This is a bug that was blatently obvious last season, and it cost us some games too. I told Mike Rogers about it, I posted it in the bugs forum (twice), I've seen multiple other people post it there, yet it never gets addressed. I seriously wonder why testers exist when this garbage lasts for multiple seasons without getting addressed, ever.

GRD refuses to join in the slamfest. Even when I knew it would put us at an immediate disadvantage against any teams even using it a fraction of the time.

I spent pre-season getting the passing game to work - giving the relevant talent level on Stockholm I would be surprised if they couldn't be even more successful not running this tactic.

I'm waiting to see which team will be the first to wheel out the goal line defence on all 3 downs.
