NIGHTMARE FOR DC's!!!!

Not for it or against it.. If it's not implemented I'll never think twice about it, and if it is.. well.. I'll adjust accordingly..

I agree there should be a setting in the QBs tactics...but there should also be a higher-level "contingency plan" that is set in the AI along with the play. Because, depending on the formation and the routes (and yardage, down, time left, etc), you might want your QB to have different things in mind when scrambling. For example, late in the game you'd prolly want to look at outside WRs or throwing it away. But if it's 4th and goal on the 1 yard line, maybe you'd just want the QB take it up the gut.

Not sure how best to implement. A slider in the QB tactics seems good to me. But from the play calling window in the AI or package page, maybe you need a series of drop downs to set priorities...sorta like the custom look downs.

Maybe should also add something in to stop the defense exploits... i.e. when they pull up the secondary to the sides and blitz

yea we all love the idea because its impossible RIGHT NOW.
i would love to fly in to the space in my personal space ship.

in other words, you are a dreamer.
what you are saying takes a lot of time, you are talking about a sim which is in beta.
you want all this only at QB position, and just on scrambling plays?
i don't think many of us could perform these actions effectively, especially a sim.
a 28 year old game, madden, its CPU player (or sim) can not perform some of those actions that have been named.

be realistic.

-1 for now
+1 in the future

if used well, maybe. Most OCs would wind up scrambling into a blitz I'm guessing though, and those fumbles would have a chance to get recovered by the defense since he won't be surrounded by OLinemen with soft hands.

Would be a nice option for the dual threat QBs though and would be another way to buy time against the blitz against teams that always send their blitzers from the same spots. If they can do it well, it should happen....or just create Rollout plays where the QB is more likely to run after a scripted scramble.

I didn't even read past "In real American Football" cause the problem is you have UNrealistic builds. You can't expect anything in this game to be realistic if you have unrealistic fictional player builds. People wanna complain about how the game runs and how unrealistic it is. Until they make it where the players are semi-realistic, this game will always have flaws.

this IS a nice idea. +1

but.... bort has done a terrible job coding D players with logical football knowledge to even recognize qb bootlegs, until the qb gets to or turns the corner. yea i know u can assign a D player to the qb, and yes i know u can send a blitz to the outside, but im not talking about gameplans. im talking about a dots recognition (or lack of) an obvious play as the bootleg.

u see lolb/rolb and some fs/ss just stand in space until the qb turns the corner. that will need to be addressed aslo.
