+1

I really think this is the kind of stuff that could entertain people a little during the offseason. It is needed and would be very rewarding for players on all teams and extremely fun to see a bunch of rivals playing together.

Thanks for the support and I appreciate it, but some critiques will be more useful right now.

Problem being, currently you don't keep track of sacks allowed.

There are several stats that need to be added and that is one them. Hence the italics.

The best bet then is to push for those things to be added first. Although I like the system you have put in play (for instance, my OT has over 100 pancakes and only let 1 sack in) it can't function without all the correct stats.

Once the stats are in, then by all means push for this. But I'd rather see more of a focus on a few other things first.

I agree that some formulas are weak without certain stats, but they are still usable.

These formulas would be fine as long as they are only run on the games against the top teams in the league (i.e say the top 6 or 8).

Pro-Bowl type players are the guys who put up numbers against the best teams. Right now, it's too easy for players to accumulate massive stats against creampuffs by design - especially if they know they will get rewarded in doing so in the first place.

Limit the results to just the top 6-8 teams in the Conference - that way it's virtually impossible for a player to be named a Pro-Bowl player UNLESS he makes a living against the good teams.

Case in point, in one league I'm in a DT got 32 sacks this season - and not one of them were against the top 8 teams in the league. Thats not Pro-Bowl type production - thats stat-padding.

But everyone plays the same teams so everyone gets an opportunity against them.

Where do you see that? SScore is season score, and CScore is for career.

or you could have people from the same league/conference vote on who they think the best players are.

you could have a CB who gets no tackles because he covers so well. and he doesnt get to play much cause his teams offense dominates most of the game.

but some other CB has a ton of tackles with a few catches allowed, and he gets alot of playing time cause he is a decent player but his teams offense sucks.
