Week 9 Eastern Conference Predictions....
Hartford Musician(2-6) vs. Richmond Retros(0-8) - This should be a fairly well contested match. I can see both teams putting up some points in this one but I believe the Musicians O-Line will be too strong for the Retros and I could see this being 10-14 point victory in favour of the Musicians.
New York Warriors(6-2) vs. Atlanta Bling(2-6) - Unfortunately for Atlanta I can only see this going one way. And that is mainly down to their defensive frailties, coupled with the Warriors strong O-Line and Rushing games I should think this will be a comfortable victory.
**Louisville Nighthawks(6-2) vs. Boston Massacre(4-4) - Louisville are on a high after 3 straight victories have put them right into the mix for the playoffs. Boston Massacre are improving after a fairly mixed start to the season which saw them allow 69 points to the Monkeys but also put up 62 on Cinci. I can see this being a very close game, Boston have a potent rushing attack, however their below average defensive line will probably see them loose this by around 3 touchdowns in what should be a high scoring affair.
San Antonio Stallions(6-2) vs. Bristol Bullets(5-3) - After 2 shutouts in 2 weeks the Stallions will be feeling very confident heading into the second half of the season and have a good team all round. The Bristol Bullets have a balanced side all round but a level or two below that of the Stallions. Stallions to win by 10.
Cleveland Firebirds(5-3) vs. Cincinnati Convicts(3-5) - The Firebirds are coming off the back of a less than convincing victory over the Atlanta Bling and I will be shocked if they beat the Convicts today. The Convicts themselves havent been to impressive, although that can probably be put down to the 5 or so low level starters on Defense. Cinci to win.
Dallas Rampage(5-3) vs. Eleven Wise Monkeys(8-0) - Dallas are coming off a 4 games winning streak and are not to be underestimated by any means. However they were all against teams currently less than .500. The Monkeys on the other hand continued their impressive form and are one of three teams left in BBB#1 to remain undefeated, and I dont see that changing today. Monkeys by 20 plus points.
Alcatraz Island Jailbreakers(2-6) vs. Baltimore Knights(0-8) - To be honest with their O-Line and playmakers on defense I am surprised to see the Jailbreakers having such a poor record midseason, especially as they have yet to play 4 of the top 5. The Knights on the other hand seem to have a statistically poor team, this is in no way meant to be derogatory to the coaching staff or players but unfortunatley their team (at the moment) is simply not well enough equipped. Alcatraz to end their loosing streak here.
Colonial Zoners(2-6) vs. Washed Up Rock Stars(8-0) - A low levelled O-Line seems to be the problem for the Zoners, however a shut-out loss to the (2-6) Jailbreakers is pretty abysmal, especially as they seem to have an ok team. What to say about the Rock Stars, well like the Monkeys they turn up every week and get the victory and I cant see this one being any different.

Never doing predictions again... the simulation is an absolute joke
No offense to the Retros but 3 level 10+ on their entire roster, one of which is a kicker. A level 5 QB manages to throw a near perfect game 16 of 25, 187.5 yards and 4 touchdowns with no INTs. Meanwhile a defensive which previously had managed 3 interceptions in 8 games, against a QB who hadnt yet had any INTs thrown pick him off twice and pick off the other QB just for good measure. Im not being funny but this would be like (1-15) Dolphins walking over the Bucs or something last year, it just didnt happen!!!
