so whenever I run the game scout, I have been going back and double checking it. It is consistently wrong. The totals change constantly. I can open the same page in two tabs, and run the scout, they are both different. It makes it very difficult to "SCOUT". Is anyone else aware of this, or has it been addressed already?

If you're talking about on a team page. This bug did exist at one point. What was happening was the page was doing the final update for the stats before it had finished tabulating the results for every game. Theoretically, if you scouted 5 games, you could get 120 different results. Most would be obviously wrong and anyone who noticed it and clicked the button again would get the correct results. It should be fixed already but those who downloaded once and never updated again might still have it. I only noticed it because the time of possession didn't add up correctly.

If you're talking about on a play-by-play, that's news to me.

It was just the team page, I updated and it works fine now. I should have checked for updates, but I just reinstalled everything a couple of days ago. Thanks again though.

This may have been answered but way too many posts to scroll through. Is there a script that gives a season long scouting report, with the totals of the play breakdown?

ie. 37 runs right, 52 runs middle, and 75 runs left, along with the yardage

Yes, the game scout will do this, simply check all the games you want to analyze. The nice thing about it is you can leave out the scrub teams to get a clearly picture of how your team (or anyone elses) does against the heavies on their schedule.

Thanks - I'll give that a try

And here's the script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/28938

Thanks, but the stat number thingee didn't allow game scout to work.

Love all these updates guys, pretty neat!

I have a question, not sure if its been up before as I just skim this thread occasionally. Is it possible to create a link on each play page to redirect the play directly to the AI tester? A drop down menu selecting whether you want to run the play as the defense or the offense and a text box with your team id might make it easy (not sure if the team ID stuff is somewhere in the source as I haven't really looked at it)

I imagine it might be somewhat complicated though. I'm a novice programmer and not really familiar with greasemonkey or how GLB lays things out -- maybe its not possible I think it would be a pretty neat idea if it could be implemented and solve a lot of the user error type play inputs and generally make the whole process a little smoother.

Just a thought

Hey quick question...or i guess favor. My computer went down and my room mate wont let me DL firefox on his computer. my player just leveled up and his bars moved quite a bit. Can someone with the player rating script tell me what the ratings are for my corner on his scouting report? Im thinking the middle bar is a 39...which is pretty awesome for a lvl 20!

Thanks

Nope. 30/39/30.

You can do it the old fashioned way and "view source". You are looking for...

The script just grabs the width as the rating number.

Hey guys I was just thinking of an idea last night. Right now I have my CB, then a fairly new DE and obviously i watch the replays to see how they're doing. I was wondering if it would be possible to write a script that makes the PBP show only the players you want. For example my DE is on a gutted team who gets blown out, but if I wanted to watch only the replays of when the opposing team passes then could you make all other plays invisible. If you can't just delete them then even blacking them out would be cool. This could also be used for seeing how your own team/GM'd team did in certain situations. Maybe you want to see how your defense reacted on 3rd and long, or if the Offense moved the chains on 2nd and Short. If this is too hard to do then don't bother, I just think it would be a nice tool to have in order to view certain types of plays more easily.

First - Apologies for not reading all 130+ pages if this is covered previously. If it is, just say so and I'll look for it...but I'd hate to look for an hour to come up empty

1) I can't get the Game Scout to work correctly....If i tick 4 games to include, it will sometimes do 2 or 3 only, etc.

2) Is there a way to transfer the data in the "User Notes" from my home PC to my laptop?

Thanks!!!
Dennis (recent Firefox convert - IE is now a cuss word in my home)
