you're right, turnovers have nothing to do with the game. Not a big part at all. I appologize. We didn't turn it over but that doesn't matter and I mean we only forced 4 picks from you by why should that be any indicator to a game or a teams success. My bad!!

Ignore the rest of my post? The only time your offense got close to moving the ball was off missed tackles. We completely shut your running game down and your passing was medicore besides 2 plays.

I'm not sure I understand here... Meatballs will DEFINITELY be a top 8 team, but The Scorgasms might not? I would assume it is because of the Korb Destroyers, if they make it... but we own tiebreakers with the meatballs, musketeers, stampede and Aggies, and the meatballs and we have the same record.
I understand how we could theoretically not make the playoffs, I just don't see how the meatballs are guaranteed a spot at the same time. What am I missing?

What am I missing? They have the tiebreaker with KORB while you guys don't. So if stockholm loses there last two theoreticaly, they would be tied with Korb and win the tiebreaker. However, if the Scorgasms lose thier last 2, they would be tied with Korb and lose the tiebreaker.

I'm sorry for bringing it up. Obvioussly Berlin scouted you hard and without knowing the impact of the new rules, Berlin were clearly silly enough to have boosted at the point as well so you are right, we suck!

NFC ftw. None of their starters boosted for the preseason games.

Pretty much this. As long as it's a tie between you and the Meatballs, your team owns the tiebreaker. If somehow its a tie between your team and Korb and Rotterdam, and even if Stockholm gets their too, the meatballs get the go ahead because they have a better record against the 4 teams.
And some relegation and home field have been clinched. Because there are only 2 games left, EA and SGPO cannot finish above 15. Similarly, Woodridge, Valhalla, and Trolls cannot fall below fourth.

The first four seeds in Zeta have been locked up. It's the Trolls, the HEAT, the Pimps, and the Scorgasms. Each of the teams own the tiebreaker for the team below them and all are one game out from the team ahead of them. The Scorgasms clinched because they have beaten all of the teams sitting at 10-5 now, they own the tiebreaker even if they lose their last game.

Not a lot of surprises today, but here's how it looks going into the last game.
ALPHA:Woodridge defeated Valhalla and has now clinched their third consecutive top finish in Alpha. One day Woodridge will not finish first, but it may be a long time until that happens. Valhalla had already clinched a home game, however they will either need to defeat the Scorgasms or have Berlin lose to Reykjavik to claim the #2 seed and a second home game in the playoffs. Berlin has likely clinched a home game. They could technically finish in a three way tie with FTA and Toledo, who also clinched their playoff berths today, but the point differentials are likely to great for Berlin to finish below them. That said, should the tie occur, FTA has the best shot of closing the point differential. Currently, they are 127 points behind Berlin and 45 points behind Toledo with a final game against SGPO. Berlin and Toledo finish against Reykjavik and Korb, respectively, which leaves the possibility of a close finish between these teams in the event of a tie. The standings will likely finish, however, with Berlin at 3rd and 4th and 5th coming down to the outcome of Toledo's final game.
Stutgartt and Carthage were eliminated from the playoffs today. Depending on what happens on Tuesday, the five remaining spots could go to Lake Charles, Wembley, AWC, E-city, or London. Lake Charles appears to be in the best shape with a remaining game against free-falling Rohrheim. The other teams all have very tough final games, so we will look at this from a standpoint of the worst/best-case scenario that puts them all tied at 9-7.
Against the other four teams, AWC and LCWD lead the way with a 3-1 records. Unless they end in a tie with only the team that they lost too, this pretty much assures a playoff berth for the Crew and the Who Dats. E-city has a 2-2 record against the other opponents, giving them an advantage over London and Wembley (who, conveniently, are who E-city's wins are against). London and Wembley have 1-3 records with London owning the head-to-head between them. The fact that the biggest point differential between these teams is only 62 points makes this a tangled mess. It's hard to say who has the toughest position, but I think Wembley is still in possibly the scariest spot. They have been an absolute beast down the stretch, refusing to lose and making a strong push. If they can pull off one more against Paris, the playoffs are theirs. If they fall short, they need both London and E-city to lose as well. Their games are against Frankfurt and RMP, which favors the Warriors.
Lyon joined the Assassins in relegation today. Good luck in AAA to the Sharks.
ZETA: Zeta is much simpler than Alpha today. The top four spots have been clinched and will not change. No matter what happens Tuesday, Frankfurt cannot catch the Trolls, the Pimps cannot catch the Trolls, the Scorgasms cannot catch the Pimps and cannot be caught by anyone else. Congratulations guys, your spots are sealed, the only thing that remains is who you opponents are.
Paris and Reykjavik clinched playoff berths today. Should there be a tie for 5th at 10 wins, neither team, nor Stockholm, can finish lower than 7th. The only playoff spot still in question is the final spot. With Rotterdam holding the tie-breaker, Korb will need to defeat Toledo and have the Roughnecks lose to Nice. Since it is not likely that Rotterdam will lose, Korb will probably have to wait until next season.
Bari and Rohrheim were eliminated after the last game, so nothing has changed there. Dfools, however, has now locked up relegation. We will be saying goodbye to the AllStars, along with the Officers after this season.
Good luck to everyone on Tuesday.
