I've played Tribes back in the day and wasn't bad. But don't know if i could find the disc for it lol. Mostly console games now since I need games I can put down at a moments notice

Well, thats where all us Ho's come from. Born and bred on the OGL and TWL ladders. Stuff like this thread is what we used to go through just picking a match time with another tribe. Even though most still act like it, none of us are actually "kids" anymore. Harrasing people on forums has kinda become our trademark over the last 8 years or so.

Harrasing people in forums is weak really. Doing it when it counts, IN GAME, is what matters.

This thread is meaningless. It's about the Win.

Well, THE WIN is pretty meaningless too. There is so much out of owners, player's and GM's control, GLB is just mental mastrubation. You gain a level, have 5 points to spend evry 4 or 5 games. I mean, it's just not very exciting. I could see if you actually get to control your guy or something, but it's just statistical abilites in different situations run through a sim. There's really nothing you can do to help your team other than try not to screw up your guy's build. If we had more control over what happens in the sim, maybe i'd see more satisfaction from winning, but wtf...

True for now, with the new Offensive and Defensive tactics they will probably add next season, the OC and DC have a huge part in the win or loss. I think as they add individual tactics the players will have a huge part as well (and not just the build).

That's why I can't wait for Head Coach to come out. It's almost the same thing as this with graphics but just not MMORPG.

Ya, I'm working on a defense for our 2nd team. It's pretty specific and flexible, but have you looked at the offensive AI interface? You can't even pick which formation you want to run in specific situations, let alone design the plays to run. Once that happens, we'll be able to distinguish football knowledge and the smack talk will be justified. As of now, we just put in percentages and hope the sim runs a play that our team may actually be good at running.

Nah haven't looked at the O yet, I'm the D coordinator so true. This game is going to be awesome though. Once Bort and his crew get's all of their ideas implimented.
