Palookas will absolutely make the playoffs, if only because there's only 4 good teams in our Conference.

Once there... I mean, I have to like our chances. We won NA Pro gold on our last trip up the ladder in our final Plateau season, we made it into WL another time waaaaaaaaay back in ancient times, we've won two Natty Pro silvers in the recent past, and we've proven we can hang with every team in our league except for Jersey, who we just don't have much history with yet. We've proven we belong at the top. And we've already declared this season is World League Or Bust, so I'm calling it: Palm Bay wins it all.

As for how we do in World League... I'll get back to you on that.

I've been called Palookas up the ladder and I've always taken it as a compliment. I like to say Palookas with Benefits this time but still an honor... pulling for ya

Good to see Nex here and I cant see him not throwing in a couple of surprise scores ...They will improve as the season climaxes so they could be pushing (mebbe depending on time/cares ?

Personally Id like to see KC have a shot in the WL...make no mistake Playmakers may agitate but hes also pretty committed and KC has the tools. Can they put it all together ?

And just from a personal pov I wanna see how some of the other d/cs get to grips with the O talent liberally supplied in this group .... and then nick some stuff !!!!!

Must say Palookasx2 because you have 4 rushing QBs instead of 2 he has! Don't dream that your QBs can throw in this league and beyond, someone else had dreams about that and was 0-16 in WL (and never promoted again).

Don't bash passes with rushingQBs, i won 3 WL titles thanks to that.
But yes, you are right, you can do it 1-2 time against DCs, then it's over. I usually do it to open op the running for rQB the next time around. Certainly what SmithsterSmitty was referring to when he mentioned to also defend the pass as well.

if you commit fully to stopping the run, I will DEFINITELY pass over you. If you play to cover the receivers then the rushing attack has a chance to spring for big yardage. Obviously a talented DC can do both which is why WL is a real bitch but I enjoy throwing wrinkles into the equation.

Where I am a little different than the one you are talking about is that 3 quarterbacks are always fully equipped for rushing in a game with the 4th equipped to throw. It isn't one or the other so makes it a little tougher for the DC to cheat IMO.
