I know one or two but they are not the silent majority that many pretend exists. You look through the leagues and it's basically the same handful of agents creating dots for many of the teams.

Now that the game has contracted so much people can no longer hide behind the silent majority explanation.

Completely disagree. Maybe it's just the teams that you play on, but I'd guess a large portion of the teams that I play on do not post in the public forums and barely post in the team forums, but are fairly active in keeping up with their players.

Looked at your team. Half the dots are owned by someone I've never heard of. The rest are mostly people I see posting in one public forum or another.

For the record, I'm not saying they should be considered a "Silent Majority" but I also think they shouldn't be discounted. There's something to be said for the fact that if they're here and being quiet, they might be happy with things just the way they are. And that if that changes, we'll hear from them. Or maybe they'll just drift away.

I just think that we tend to either overvalue or undervalue the opinions of a vocal few which may or may not be representative of the opinions of the whole.

That was true back in the day. Now the silent ones are mostly multis. Most of the people I know that legitimately played and didn't post are long gone.

One of the best games on PSN right now is 8 bit and ya, it just came out. Seeing 8 bit characters isn't what turns people off. The game has to be good itself beyond the graphics.

Guys who have been playing this game since 2008 probably aren't "noobs" by any means. Nobody PM's me about MB because I don't play it.

Maybe half of the rest post, yet only 1 inactive agent on the team. Even if it is 50%, that's still a good portion of agents.

The majority of the rest are you, stu, Larry, heff, landry, rocdog, pringles, dmac...

hardly a silent group.
