Warrior General Games

Set the existing player rates in stone for current players and raise the rates for all the newcomers.
Sort of like Obamacare.
Then advertise on ESPN .
Game over man!

Been reading this over the past week or so.....I think chief c speaks sense as always......Ive only been here a couple of years or so and dont care how users adapt to the sim etc I do feel however that altho a MMORPG in a team sport agents here tend to build dots for "stats" success 1st and foremost and maybe sometimes to the detriment to team success.........I understand that much of this is due to the high price of dots and a desire to see some palpable "return" for your investment etc......but again some is down to ego and/or ignorance lol.....
I dont know enough about the game mechanics or marketing or any of that doo-diddle stuff but heres my threepence worth !!

Get rid of Casual and PeeWee completely..........Casual agents can always play duece as its shallow enough gameplay wise.........PeeWee can just build one and done teams for their lolgold etc Users like me who, in spite of all the "ills and evils" within regular still want to play what is the only decent crossover type sports/rpg get to stay here in a contracted but "tougher" user base
Make all O/Line and blocking dots free...theres only so many orgasms you can get out of Pancakes after all !!......Reduce Rosters to 45 and put a maximum allowed limit onto positions.....make the remaining user base find new ways to have a successful season/team

Get rid of casual...are you kidding??!! There are a hardcore of agents who prefer casual to regular leagues and i'm pretty sure 90%+ of them don't play/like GLB2....it is nothing like casual here on GLB

I've tried GLB2 and i can assure you casual here is far superior to anything GLB2 has to offer

Casual here is akin to rolling a freakin dice lol......have perma 79s in it pro leagues only and its worth 5 mins of my time lol....I can get that on loads of other sports sites,,,,, but regular is by far the more superior product for the thinking man who has a little time and is prepared to look for ways to beat opponents ....

I fail to see how getting rid of casual will help GLB classic

I personally enjoyed the game most in early pyramid days. Part of that of course was figuring out how to play and the mechanics of builds. A pyramid structure with all 79s would be awesome imo.

all Im saying is that the casual sim doesnt cut it for those who have time....if the gods that be want to set one game against another it would seem sensible to throw caual in with deuce .......specialise here with regular .....and if Casual was all that why no WL or anything similar as the Pro Cas leagues are emptier than a brothel in Utah

There's more to casual than you're giving credit. Buy a team and try I out if you think it takes no time.

Lol done been there...done that... ate the pie etc....co-ord atm and have dots in casual.....My point is that a casual team Vs a similar regular team is no contest....not cos of the dots co-ord owner etc but cos of the SIM....Casual is inferior to Regular....no debate.........and seriously it takes about 30 mins game-planning in regular for what i feel is a more detailed campaign......But I take it back if you feel that its casual keeping the game alive......if i had less time I know I would play a direct management type sim rather than GLB 1 OR 2.....I dont feel that the user base is shrinking because peeps have less time.....more so less money and patience because the game doesnt appear to be evolving....diversing regular from casual would still offer both to all.....just my thoughts is all

No one is suggesting that this is the case but if they get rid of casual then that would only shrink an already declining userbase even further

If they went insta level 79's, made up a ton of new VA's, swapped in some new SA trees and said for the next 4 seasons you were going to get SA and VA points. All while changing all the formations and plays to something mostly new. I'd gizz my pants and retire everything GLB2 had to offer.

that would require a shit ton of coding and testing. im not sure they are THAT motivated
