Shaun Alexander is the biggest possible homer pick for a top 10 RB list

ITT: if a player is on a good team we must automatically discount all of his individual stats and he isn't worthy of being on a top 10 list.

They are (including me) but i assume Romo thought the off topic debate was much better than the normal off topic name calling thus moved it instead of warning locking it like it should have been

Best Running Backs in NFL history
1. Jim Brown
2. Adrian Peterson
3. Barry Sanders
4. Walter Payton
5. Eric Dickerson
6. LaDainian Tomlinson
7. Marshall Faulk
8. Tony Dorsett
9. Thurman Thomas
10. Emmitt Smith

I didn't realize how rare truly great backs were until I made that list. I didn't really want to include anyone else after Faulk.

I love how high you included Adrian Peterson, he is without question the most dominant HB I have seen in my lifetime and if he can somehow avoid a career ending injury I think he will go down as the greatest HB ever

no love for Terrell Davis?

I guess it is tough to put him top 10 due to the lack of longevity in his career but his 1996-1998 run is one of the most ridiculous 3 year stretches ever for a RB.

yeah, and the guy right behind him almost did the same exact thing, he obviously had a badass offenive line for a fullback like mark anderson (or something anderson) to rush for over 1500 yards too..or some shit
