firstly, we may 'go a ways back', but that was basically only for 1 or 2 seasons around season 14 or 15 when you were a part of my team, but we haven't kept in contact for over 15seasons now ...I thank you for your compliment about running a tight ship but i did work really hard back then to earn that from you!
...yes I admit that I do enjoy a verbal stoush, but most of the verbal stoushes that I have had, have been about differences in perceptions, ideals and principles because I do take a strong stance on those matters and I return fire when under attack
...now about the not being able to accept constructive criticism, I don't know what you are referring to coz I can't recall any criticism other than someone being disrespectful ...I hope that you can see the difference between constructive criticism and disrespect Seric, coz I can!
...I really was baffled as to why you felt compelled to become involved in this 'discussion' and then I goto your profile and see the 20 players that you have on one of gerr's teams ...biased opinion! ...if you look at what the heated debate in this thread was about, you would see that it had everything to do with gerr's attempt at opportunism and my argument has not been about personal gain, but more about the grand scheme of PWG and maintaining (or I guess establishing) some integrity!
...and finally, I am thinking in the best interests of PWG, and that has nothing to do with gerr benefiting from it and making his teams even stronger coz that innitself would harm PWG! ...basically, gerr is the main beneficiary of this PWG Teaching Team, and if you can't see that then your biased view is blind to his now not-so-hidden agenda!

Bias has nothing to do with it. You come in here trashing Gerr for having a hidden agenda and a ego trip when you yourself had one of the biggest egos in the game back then and obviously still do. Yes we haven't kept in contact since then but it doesn't change the fact that you will be quick to attack someone, as has been seen several times in this thread, simply because they don't bow down and agree with you.

All anyone needs to do is go to the Owner/GM/OC/DC ratings forum and see what I am talking about.

Have you changed since then? I don't really know. Somewhat I guess, but not totally. I still see a lot of that in you from this thread.

I will admit I've had my issues. I don't try to deny that.

I didn't come in here because of anyone asking. I responded to you because I felt like it. Gerr has nothing to do with my response. My having players on his team has nothing to do with it. The thing is, while you refuse to get to know the guy behind the scenes but want to attack him like you've had experiences with him is pretty retarded. LE is really the only one with a legitimate gripe with him.

i think manogwar should start over at page 1 and re read the entire thread. You are the only one who came in with a problem and insisting that everything gerr is doing is because of a hidden agenda. The disrepect in this forum has come from you manogwar. there is absolutely no reason for this to continue just as it never should have been an issue.

I had a dot with one of Gerr's teams one season. Was a miserable season.

Is it so difficult to follow a build guide? A few owners make lists of players and any goals or corrections needed for dots. You think Gerr is bad this season LE told me I don't pull out fast enough! How humiliating is that? lol

It is when you're being told how to build by a guy who was not even supposed to be there. I was told a teammate from another team I was associated with was taking the team over from Gerr but it never happened. Gerr kept the team instead and then was pissed because I didn't follow his build commands.

I think he was just mad because my build method produced better results than his build guide.

"Yeah, you got 3 more points in you main attribute than the other CBs and all your other attributes are equal but you didn't follow my build plan DAMMIT!!1!"

I hear you, but damn it's frustrating and a coordinator when dots just don't do what what your scheme is designed for. I don't yell too much but you may find yourself at ROLB1 or WR5.

That's why I tell an owner straight up before I sign with them. I build how I want and that's the way it is. They can take it or leave it.

It's funny now and I lol about it. Wasn't so funny back then (especially since someone in PW gold reported me and I received a 7 day ban for that post).

A guy from a regular team I was with posted a recruiting thread in that team forum wanting peewee dots for (what was supposed to be) his team. I committed a dot to the team. On day 42 I got the offer and of course I just looked at the team name/logo and recognized it as that guy's team and signed. Upon viewing the team forum I saw a bunch of threads started by Gerr telling us how to build, tactics, and shit like that. I was like "WTF is this shit?".

I then looked at the team page and realized Gerr was actually the owner. I PM'd the old teammate who recruited me and asked him what was going on. He informed me that Gerr was transferring the team over to him during the offseason and not to worry. lol

I kind of like to be kept in check. Most the time I follow build guides exactly. Gerr's guides are the most in depth and simple to follow that I've seen. I generally do it through PMs so I don't embarrass the agent. Sometimes I get kind of random guys and some of their builds are so incredibly off I don't even know what to say to them.
