I've pm'd getgidwani with this information first, but here's the explanation. When I originally planned the tournament out the intent was to only have a team boosted with 50% of it's players at any point of the tournament, however, the rules on the rules page only indicate that teams with greater than 50% boosted rosters will not be receiving an invitation, plus no penalty listed if a team does go past the 50% boosting rule. This is the first time this has ever been an issue, and I will modify the rules before next years tournament to make things clearer. Because of the rule ambiguity, Mississippi will advance based on the result of the score.

Didn't mean to upset anyone here... my boosting had nothing to do with this tournament as it was always my intentions to boost at this point in the season and I didn't see anything in the rules preventing boosting otherwise I never would have joined. My primary focus is always league play and that's what this was geared towards based on the experience gains or lack thereof from waiting to boost at this point. To agentmayhem, I'd love to schedule a rematch with you just for the sake of it early next season or after Day 30 (assuming your team is boosting for the playoffs). Like someone else mentioned, I was under assumption the only "don't boost" tourney was Halos (hence why MMD didn't submit an entrance to that).

This is why the Gamecocks don't sign up for Halos, but we boosted last season during this tourney and nobody complained.

This really makes no sense to me since no quality team will be over 50% boosted at the beginning of the season when invites go out.

Yup sucks... My team lost today by 4 to a half boosted CrackerTown... I would imagine without the boosting we would have won

Can we get a "championship bracket" update for lazy asses like me who can't find the energy to continuously click on the individual brackets
