Thank you Ed, now SportsCenter will take a look at the matchups from the east.
Pittsburgh Irons v Chicago Dire Wolves
Chicago has shown it can beat the Dores. Well the Irons said last week "Hey, we can beat these guys too." This will be a pretty interesting game. But Chicago has a huge player level advantage and the chemistry advantage. They should win comfortably here.
24-13 Dire Wolves
Palmyra Cougars v New York Doom
The Cougars play some damn good defense and have kept it competitive in two very tough games. The Doom wont find it that easy to stay undefeated. But they have the competitive edge here and should get the win.
14-10 Doom
Miami Sharks v Radio City Irrelevants
Well, it seems every week I single someone out and they tell me right to my face that they are better than their record shows by pounding the crap out of my favorite team... We'll I wont underestimate you again Radio City, but you have a long ways to go. As for the Sharks, they havent really stepped up in their only challenge against the Mammoths. Lets see if they can stay competitive in this one.
17-6 Irrelevants
Charlotte Clamjousters v Nashville Dores
I'm sure the Jousters are not where they want to be with a 1-3 record early in the season. They'll have a few weeks to get back on track here and will need it to regain momentum in a tough eastern conference. As for the Dores, they still have lots of work to do...
38-0 Clamjousters
Albany Mammoths v Montpelier Morticians
The Morticians have filled out their depth chart a little and are now a pretty competitive team in the east. The Mammoths are coming off a tough shutout loss against the Irrelevants and are looking to get back on track. This game wont be easy for either team. But the Morticians have definitely got the advantage by the numbers...
19-17 Morticians
Ho Playbook v Indianapolis Gangsters
Well, the Playbook have claimed they deserve to be at the top of the eastern conference but after a tough win against the Steamer, of all teams, and being shut out by the Morticians, I'm not sure about their confidence. The Gangsters made it clear they've got offensive firepower as well with a 32-6 win against the Beer Barons last week. This week they're probably still looking for blood. Ho is going to need a lot more than talk to pull this one out.
24-0 Gangsters
St. Louis Beer Barons v Miami Carniceros
At 4-0, the Carniceros look to be in contention for the title of best in the east. They've even knocked off some tough teams to boot. But the Carnicero's defense will have to do a much better job if they're to stay undefeated this week. This game will be decided by the defenses, and I feel that the Beer Barons are the stronger of the two in this matchup.
10-6 Beer Barons
Tampa Elite v Cleveland Steamer
Tampa has not gotten it done. At 0-4 they're sitting in a real bad place. The Elite need to turn their team around or they're going to see the season slip away (some trades pending, is that a sign of life or surrender?). The Steamer have been playing really well this season. They should get the win here.
13-6 Steamer

Wow Omaha barely squeaks by Oakland..........I mean the Bay Area Bombers. Maybe the new name gave them a second life or they are not as bad as everyone thinks.
Good game Bay Area

The Cougars put up a hell of a fight today but we managed to get the win. They are most definitely better than their 0-5 record indicates. Look for them to turn it around and make a run at the playoffs.

see I told you Ho Playbook sucks
To be honest I didn't change tactics for this game against the Playbook. So I expected to lose this one!

That's what we thought too. But we finally came up against a team who can put the ball in the endzone against us...
Congratulations, Hollywood. You deserved the win.
