all i can say about this is that I'm glad I left before I found out about this, I had noting to do with the first team so I'll not get involved with that, I was one of those that had nothing to do with anything but was so close to getting drawn into the mess,

Oh, on this I agree with you. The owners /should/ have. But as far as I know, didn't. But for his own part, Byron has done what he can, acknowledged its a bad situation, and apologized for his part in it.

I think Chase is correct. The proper course of action is for us all to be sportsman like and treat our opponents with respect. To the owner whose child is healthy now, I am glad things worked out. No one appreciates having a sick child.
If they are cheating, it will sink them in the long run. If they somehow manage to cheat and even win a championship, they will have a black mark on every user's name from here on out. I should point out, unless they were smart enough to carry out every collusion idea via email independent of GLB, Bort and company will eventually track them down. I am guessing that second offenders will get short shrift.

My fault for the miscommunication, looking back on it I read it wrong, my bad. As for the trying to get traded or released thing, that has been in the works for a bit with little success (haven;t gotten much feedback), but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Also, Bort finally got back to me via PM. Here is his response, and I am in no way trying to insult anyone in posting what he replied. This is simply copied and pasted from his resposne to my original PM about the situation.
Bort: I'd have to find a trading partner in order to move you out. It's getting a little late for that, but it can still happen up until the time I generate schedules tomorrow.
To be honest, though, I think a lot of owners are going to find that they can catch up to teams that are a couple levels higher than them moving into their league, and even though they complain now it's won't be that big of a deal once the season gets rolling. If you notice, my recently posted update to XP is targeted at big outliers, 8-13 levels above the league median or more, who show a history of poor sportsmanship. I'm looking down the road at lv 30, 40, etc, not 2-3 level differences. Anyway, I hope once the season starts most people will spend more time worrying about winning their games than crying over a guy who's a couple levels higher.

At first it seems harsh, but at the same time seems to me that he believes this new system will in some way even out all playing fields in the end. Some good and some bad I guess.
