I'm confused. I've seen a few safeties in my games, and the team that scores the safety does get the ball back, as they should. What's the issue here?

I understand the want of a punt after a safety or having it kicked off from the 20, but where's this issue of not getting the ball back coming from?

if they fixed this great, but i still want the option for punt or kick.

+1 its a no-brainer

Punting option would be nice, but we at least need to move the kick back to the 20 instead of the 30. That's a no brainer.

It's annoying to force a safety and then watch the other team boot it into the endzone for a touchback. That never happens.
