It was a tough one for sure, but I told your our D was pretty freaking good

it is, our passing game was owned today. There were two plays by our defense that really hurt in the first half...the missed tackle on the long run early then there was a 30 yard pass where our defender stopped cuz of pump fake. Other then that, I was OK with our defense for the most part..if you take that run out we held you guys to around 5 yards per carry and under 50% passing. Just wasn't enough today..you guys were better.

i dont understand? our special teams is good. its a part of any football team and you should have to respect it too. we respect that defense and offense is a big part of the game (football and GLB) too, and we didnt complain that we couldnt shut down your o or get by your d. and we scored touchdowns in this game, not just field goals, so we can convert?

garts argument and now yours is that you dont respect us because we have a good special teams?? i dont get it?

Not saying I don't respect you just saying in retrospect it wasn't a good game. We did out gain you by 200 yds and totally killed your passing game. The fact that your special teams are so dominate made the game interesting though.

its not all about offense, you and i both know that a good special teams in RL football wins a lot of games, a la devin hester 2006-7.

outgaining us by having a longer field and having a GREAT running game that can keep you guys on the field gaining yards is how you had more yards than us. Our special teams makes the game interesting for sure.

Just as an aside, do you remember the Arizona-Bears game in (i think) 2006, devin hester and the bears beat arizona despite throwing 4 INTs on offense and being outgained by 200 yards. It was all special teams and forced fumbles.

Taking another example with the bears again, remember when denver were curbstomping the bears in 2007? then devin hester had two returns for a touchdown and they won the game.

do you think either teams that were beaten by the bears thought it wasnt a good game?

be humble, accept that your O and D beat ours, but our Special teams unit kept us in the game, and the game was close. yards mean nothing, if we beat you thats all that matters.
