We're not in this league for a regular season win against a handful of turd burglers, we just want that gold trophy, so that's what we're getting. We haven't changed our O or D AI since preseason. I think that might be because a lot of us are in college and this is about the time of finals, papers being due and getting other shit together.

In the grand scheme of things, your little victory is nothing more than what we flush down our drain.

This is the only post I'm going to make in this thread, because I'd really rather not get into a pissing match on an internet form--I'm a college student too, and arguing about dotball isn't high on my list of priorities. But, for what it's worth . . .

~I'm the owner/OC of Monowi, and the only adjustments I've made to our AI the entire season were to slightly alter some basic tactics settings. You pretty much could have seen exactly what was coming from our offense if you had bothered to even take a look at our roster--it's not as if I put a bunch of time into devising some crazy gameplan to exploit your every weakness.

~I understand this is a regular season game--the only reason people are having so much fun taking shots at you guys is because your owner came in here and basically was an arrogant asshole to every other team in the league, including some of my guys. Just because people didn't super-slowbuild their guys for two seasons doesn't mean they aren't allowed to enjoy their games, and it doesn't mean they don't know what they're doing. And I'm speaking for more than my own team there.

If you were a normal team who was reasonably polite my guys would say gg and move on. Because you insulted us and basically were dicks, people are enjoying it a bit more. When you run your mouth, you better back it up, especially when you call other teams "piles of shit" (my team), and other teams' owners "dumbfucks" (the Bangaroos).

I know/have played against guys on your team before, and I'm not really arguing that you all aren't the most talented team in the conference. I'm also sure you have solid coordinators--if we meet again and we both gameplan to the best of our abilities, the super-slowbuild advantage will probably pull out the win for you.

That said . . . "we were lazy" sounds kind of lame after all the garbage DL pitched our way.

Best of luck to you guys in the future, and I know that many of your players are solid guys. But if I were you, I wouldn't be quite so arrogant when I go in to play a team like the Bangaroos or the Ambassadors--what we just did, other people will do, and they'll enjoy it (probably) even more than I did.

Congrats on the victory Monowi-we didn't gameplan, and we should have. Nonetheless, the sim has been terrible, and there is no way we should have allowed 90 points, period. Anyway, good luck the rest of the way, but nobody is going to remember who won this one, they'll remember who gets the gold

Alright, I do have a problem with this. No matter what was said, there's no need to call me an asshole and lazy. And don't bitch about our 1-season advantage from building smartly when we beat you next time. I like to have fun on the league forums, as its a welcome escape from being a full-time student-athlete. But just because you won one game since the fucking sim is screwed up you need to now take offense to everything? Convenient, huh? Well, I'll say the same stuff after every game, this won't humble me a bit. In fact, you've just screwed yourself. Next game, don't expect ANYTHING to be easy.

If you go back and read Sunshines post he quoted your team in saying you were lazy. He didnt call you lazy. You know what quotes are and what they mean right. With you so busy being a "student-athlete" (see what I did there) maybe the little things like that passed you up in the education system.

I think all the trash talking on the Superdots is mildly deserved only because of the cockiness that was put into the creation of this thread. If you are going to self proclaim a perfect season and that every other team is garbage, you have to bring your A game every week. You put all of this on yourself.

Sadly, I think you know this already. Which is probably why you are in self defense mode and claiming you didnt try, and that the sim is messed up. I'm not saying the sim is perfect, but its just as messed up for everyone. I know you think you are above everyone else, and that you are a really tough guy on the internet, but nobody really cares. The more you portray yourself as an ass, the less people will be affected by your terrible personal attacks that have been mustered up by your own failure.
