Nope. We bought our teams at roughly the same time, and I recruited an entire team from scratch. I didn't know anyone on Dryden before I recruited them. And, for the first two seasons, our team was made up of a lot of non-boosters, and for the seasons 2-3, we were actually at a level disadvantage behind teams like Dong/Nigerian/CCC.

FYI, you are 0-3 in your last 3 games us since we caught up in levels:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=211358 (season 6)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=289754 (season 7)

It doesn't matter if you beat us and don't do anything with it, now does it?

Our roster is 80%+ different than it was in season 2. We had no shot at a playoff exploit like you. I had to build my team from the ground up and upgrade 1 or 2 levels at a time.

Oh, and they were all level 1-4 (early boosters) when I recruited them.

It is alot easier to recruit when you are a MOD in a top Pro league vs a regular peon in Western Europe AA.

I'm sure you don't think your mod title helped you any right?

Certainly didn't help you network with the other mods and their high level players, right?

Your high level players on the Pushovers certainly didn't help you network either, right?

And your sending your players to other top teams to network with them is a great strategy. I'll give you that. It worked well for guys like Jrry also, who now has links to all the top teams and top players from having played on all of them. If he ever got a team again, recruiting would be easy.

Not everyone has high level players that they can scatter to the best teams though. Very few players in the game were mods.

Other than those 3-4 really HUGE things I mentioned, you really didn't have any extra advantages at all.

How can you claim to be the better team when you haven't beat us in 3 seasons?

Surely you realize how dumb that sounds, right?

False.

I became a mod before S3. I was referring to when I bought Dryden and recruited from scratch, in S1, way before I was ever a moderator. Also, I was in AAA at the time.

False. See above.

Also, the only mod who has ever had a player on Dryden is made. A LB for about a season, and his WR this season. I've known Serenity since before GLB (and she wasn't a mod when she brought players over).

False. Most of the people on the Pushovers hated CPL and all the bullshit in the forums. The only Pushover player to join Dryden was, again, madet0order.

Also, all of that was after the initial recruiting was done for Dryden (in S1). I didn't have a network back then, I pounded the FA forums for three straight days and built a team.

Considering those things you mentioned are categorically untrue, I guess that means I'm just better at dotball than you.

It's not really a pissing contest, just me correcting your factual mistakes.

Asheme received and built the team in season 1, he wasn't made a mod until late season 2 or early season 3...you are reaching. BTW, I have a team SI...even with spending a ton of time planning so I wouldn't have to recruit...I lost players and still had to. And I had to recruit just like everyone else. As usual, speaking out of your ass. Has it ever occured to you that maybe just maybe I have links to so many top teams because I am a likeable guy and never put all MY players on my team even when I had an uncapped team? Maybe if you hadn't put all your high level players on the Beans, you would have had the same connections. And I know, next comes the sob story about how hard recruiting was...then I'll call bullshit which will lead to you making a snide comment about how I don't own my Pro Team anymore because I couldn't "cut" it or something about me being a cheater because I owned 2 teams...blah blah blah.

Asheme, I am 90% sure you were made a mod in late S2...because we had a thread in the Hitmen forum and the Hitmen disbanded in the off-season after S2. BTW didn't FairForever also play on Philly and Dryden? Just correcting some mistakes but the point you are making is 100% true.

It might have been the offseason for S2. Either way, didn't come into play for recruiting (ever really, but definitely not in S1/2).

And Fair did have players go to Philly eventually, but Megan Raine was on Dryden before that happened. His first Pushover player was the season when the Mustangs disbanded.

HERE IS HOW I WOULD RANK THE TOP FRANCHISES - NOT IN TERMS OF WINS/LOSSES ENTIRELY, BUT HOW THEY ARE RUN, AND THEIR CHANCES OF FUTURE SUCCESS GIVEN THEIR OPERATING MODEL:

1.) Adriana Lima Beans - SI was one of the first to decide to offer Flex Point laden contracts to improve the team. SI also specifically targeted the most glaring lolexploits in the game and made no qualms about using them extensively. He used the "most active, not-so-out-of-the-closet dot in GLB" claim to scare away many top prospects in the past. While no longer the most annoying owner any longer, he is still very active in the rainbow community. Certainly not near the top in terms of trophies either (0), but this team is certainly near the top of THINKING they are the best and that everyone who beats him just happens to cheat in some fashion or other. In terms of bringing excitement to the game, SI is like GLB on xanax.. Love the Beans (PLEASE! ACCEPT ME!!) or hate them (OH NOOOO!!! More anti-depressants!!!), people are dispassionate about this team one way or the other. SI's calculating of every SP of the team demonstrates his micro-management tendencies and paranoia and has led to many battles with all the Drug-indused, ill-informed, and regretful players he brought in. SI's cocky/arrogant persona has led to an image problem for the owner and team at times for sure though (admitting you have a problem is the first step towards recovery). Word is that he dresses real nice and makes the girls all cry. They think he's hot, they think he's fly. But he just says "I'm just looking for a guy."

2-?? No one else can compare to SI, so why try?
