good idea, also footing would become more sloppy in some weather conditions

rain for example would be something (but not) like this
n = quarter number
-(n)3% break tackle (do to jukes and such, which require planting a foot)

(ex: second quarter, rainy, -(2)3% = -6% break tackle, or 10% more likely to not break tackle in other words, just example, not probable forumula or variables (as in the percentage usage))

rain, snow, any other weather ideas = bad idea imo ( until this sim is fully functional with next to no bugs or messed up code)

u think its a bad idea because of scripts and code?

No, I think it is thinking waaaaay to far ahead. Yes, waaaay down the road, when all the bugs and stuff are worked out of the sim, this would be nifty. But RIGHT NOW? No, bad idea.

1: Fix the mechanics of this game
2: Make sure it is balanced properly between offense/defense
3: All the SA issues are worked out and every SA has a purpose/ and actually DOES something...
4: THEN- get all creative and imaginative and start implementing all the "icing on the cake" ideas, such as this.

.... so its a good idea down the road? lol, yes we know that its not in the near future, Bort came in here himself and told us that it would be a while, we just want more input on what we could add for when the time does come

My big thing on this is if it were to be implemented we need to know what the weather conditions are going to be like at least a full game ahead of time (ie 2 days). If not we'd have to gameplan to have multiple AIs running depending on the weather as I'm surely not going to have my team airing it out with a frozen brick in a snow storm.

If we have to gameplan for multiple weather conditions for the same game that wouldnt be much fun for coordinators.

you could do a weather forecast or something like that, which would be = to knowing in advance (obviously be more accurate than the forecasters of today )

I haven't read through all this; but my big thing, if weather is added, is that it should be based on actual climate in the area where the game is played.

I have a team in Cairo, so I'd venture to say it shouldn't snow at any of their games. The heat should get so bad early in the season, though, that it can lower stamina.

How to do that? Someone can get a list of 100 world cities and their climates (can't be too hard online) and then have people choose the city their team is closest to. This would be displayed (along with a weather forecast for their next game, based on climate September through December, the month based on where we are in the season-- January for the playoffs) on the team page.

Some people may make a mistake in their choice of city, or some people may decide they want a different city's weather and cheat. For both cases, there'd be a button by the city "report city mistake" that would go to Mods or whoever.

If it's a fairly harmless mistake (if my team's in Cairo and I was a bit ignorant of world geography and chose Tripoli, Libya over Jerusalem as the closer city, for example), it would get changed but it wouldn't be a big deal. If someone was obviously trying to pull a fast one (choosing Los Angeles for a team in Fairbanks rather than Anchorage or even Edmonton), then the team might be fined and the city changed.

Way too complicated and too easy to exploit. I've been saying since season 1, when this was first discussed that it should be global weather - from day to day, it's the same everywhere, regardless of the meaningless geography of the game.

The day before a weather forecast would come out allowing GMs to gameplan accordingly and then the day of, the weather would be the same for every game, every league that is played. The forecast would not always be 100% accurte. There would always be 3 factors: temperature, precipitation and wind. Early in the season, high heat would be more likely and later in the season, cold.

This would be easy to implement, add some game strategy and provide some variation to the games.
