So what your saying is that Bob Stoops knows how to work the BCS computers? Because if so, I agree.

My guess is you will see a vast difference between the 2005 numbers for Texas and your beloved Sooners. Any statistics you could provide in that area might shed some interesting light on this amazing accomplishment ou has achieved.

I'm NOT an OU fan, I go to UNT...go Mean Green!

But as much as I'd like to agree with you. Your statement is asinine. If you actually add up the time the starters were in, they would not be as much as you are implying. For the most part OU did pull most starters (Bradford mostly) in big wins. I really think they wanted to prove something to the voters.

I would really like to know where you are going with this. Why don't you post some actual numbers and stats.

For the record....I'm from Texas, go to a Texas University, and don't really like OU, BUT I can be objective about some things.

Go Mean Green!

Well, the problem there is, once you face a team of equal or greater talent with a strong offense and a very good defense, you are fucked.

Congrats. You've cracked the genius code. If you face a team with a strong offense and very good defense, and you only have a strong offense and poor defense, you'll lose. Also in breaking news, the sky is blue.

Edit because I certainly have not cracked the genius code

If you have a replay of OUs last game against Mizzou then that's all the proof I need. If you don't there are plenty of sites (ESPN, OUs website, etc) that can provide the stats you are referring to.

Sam Bradford was still in the game and throwing passes with 2:00 left in the game. Don't use the "it was a passing situation" argument either. He was passing on 2nd & 5. ou is the classiest team in the nation...

You can talk all the trash you want about OU, but the records prove that there has been no offense as explosive as OU in the history of the NCAA.

Did you all want a hit of the pipe or something, since you brought it up?

Let the trolling and flames commence, meanwhile.....

I've got to start thinking about what I'm going to take to the BCS National Championship game.

Razor, scoring a bunch of points vs. shit defenses won't help you when you face the first defense that has as much talent as your offense does in the NC. Florida is going to dominate the OU defense and Florida's defense can keep up with your offense just fine. Why? Because we can match your offensive speed with our defensive speed. Oh and since we are going to talk stats:
OU scored 54 PPG and UF scored 45 PPG...Florida's starters left in at least the 4th quarter of the Hawaii, Citadel, SC, Vandy and UGA games...OU's starters left in the 4th quarter of the Nebraska, TAMU, Chattanooga and Washington. However they stayed into run up the score vs. OSU, Mizzou and for part of the 4th vs. TT. I think Florida could have scored just as much as OU if they left their starting offense in every game. Plus Florida's defense is much better than OU's defense. The score of the NC will be:
UF: 38
OU: 14

You're out of your fucking mind. You think Florida's D is going to hold OU to 14 points? The same Florida D that gave up 31 to Ole Miss, in the swamp? The lowest OU has scored is 35. No one in the SEC has an offense as deadly as OU's. Bradford is going to pick Florida apart and I'm going to love every minute of it. I only wish I didn't have to wait a month to see it.

I'm sure you said the same thing when you guys were set to play USC a few years back. I'm glad that worked out for you.

We held UGA to 10 whose offense talentwise is very similar to yours. The main difference is that Bradford is a smarter player than Stafford and UGA's OL was decimated by injuries...however Florida's defense CAN stop OU's offense. You didn't score lower then 35 against JOKE defenses. The best defense you played all year is TCU who is not really a top 10 defense, they just play in a shit conference. Florida's defense can match up to OU's offense, your boy Gresham will be facing equally athletic LBs and won't be overlooked unlike in your Big 12 games and Haden and Jenkins can handle your 2 WRs along with having Black who is a ballhawk back there. We also got tons of pressure on Bama's OL which is better than OU's. I can't wait, Florida is going to shut up OU just like they did OSU.

Congrats to him.

It was a shame that Billy Sims had to cheapen the moment by sounding like a redneck as he jeered the other two finalists by screaming "Boomer Sooner" way too many times.

Actually, he only said boomer.

It's a shame that you try to interject something that was not relevant and downplay the tradition of that team.

GO MEAN GREEN! The real classy team in Texas!

You did watch the show right? Many people commented on how classless Billy Sims acted. How is it not relevant that he was yelling it before the presentation, right after the winner was announced, and as Bradford was walking up the steps to the stage? Don't try to take up for him. He acted like a jackass.
