Id hate to be the starting center on this team, or the backup for that matter.

i sent a trade offer to this team trying to trade away one of my players who was acting like an ass lol. I'm selling my team in the next couple days anyway

this team is going to have 3 or 4 tight ends a couple of really good fullbacks, but the rest of the team is going to suck.

Actually... Can a player be gay without the owner being gay? If so I have a left guard who would be willing to join if you could somehow get him off the current team.

And, while we have touched on the Bible, I find it incredibly convenient that those who take it literally to support their condemnation of homosexuality decide that the portions of it that decree what should be eaten, or what punishments should be applied to various crimes, or that a man's brother should marry his brother's widow are archaic. The decree against homosexuality was made at a time when the Jewish population was weak and depleted after their enslavement in Egypt and mgnified by their desire to not intermarry with local tribes. It was important at that time to repopulate (a problem we are not experiencing at this time) and maintain their orthodoxy in order to survive as a group. Or so they believed. To try and extrapolate that out of its historical context is an exercise in inaccuracy.

It's a great book with great lessons to be learned from it, but following it as a life-guide with no regard for how the second half of it culminates in a message of love toward all is slavishly simple-minded.

There will hate and discrimination as long as there are words describing behavior or color or creed or national origin. It sucks that myself, my children and likely my childrens children will all have to see this crap. Fuck you straight people for hating gay people simply because they're gay. And fuck you gay people for feeling the need to throw it in straight peoples faces when you could live just as happily without "fruity pants people unite". What a bunch of horseshit. That's about as cool as "all fags burn in hell". It raises the same ire on both sides of the arguement. And don't say there no comparison. I felt just as queasy reading either because they both are born of hate and misunderstanding. Fruity boy is just trying to piss straight boy off. Don't think most of the gay guys went "yes! you tell 'em girl". They're mostly not that shallow.

Just live and let live. If you are gay and want on my team I don't give a shit. But is it somehow necessary to tell me your gay? Will that +5 to your strength? I don't know the race of the people on my team because it doesn't change a thing. Or their sex. Or religious affiliation, if any. If you don't want straight people in your league and require the Iwo Jima statue pushing up a gay pride flag as your avatar..EXPECT hate mail.

I know I'm going to regret posting in this thread because I don't believe that much good came come from this; still, as a Christian I can't help but cringe whenever I read some comments from my fellow believers. I have heard it said that the #1 cause of atheism is poor Christians, and I can often see why - I would recommend folks read Bill Hybels, Just Walk Across the Room, specifically regarding how he says that when in doubt he errs on the side of "radical inclusiveness." You don't win people over by lambasting them and damning them, especially when we are all equally imperfect and flawed; it makes us look like hypocrites. Anyways, that's all I want to say here and I will leave this thread alone; feel free to PM me otherwise, if anyone wants to discuss this further with me
