wow, IC beat Vincennes... nice win.

Congrats to the IC Incinerators for the upset over Vincennes. We're playing you guys in the inter-conference game. Good to know it'll be good competition.

Also, congrats to the Fiji Sea Turtles who upset the Carabao Buffalos.

Wow, I can hardly believe it myself. My OC (Bloody Futon) and I were racking our brains last night planning for the game against Vincennes. We still thought that we would get smoked even though we knew our game plan was as sound as it could be against higher competition. It still blows me away.
Hard fought game Vincennes, I wouldn't necessarily want to have to meet again in the playoffs.

Just goes to show how huge game plan can be.

I think it can be huge... and you need really good agents/owners that will go to their tactics and "buy in" to the philosophy. In Tonga, we change our tactics WILDLY every week. I would think a ranking #2 or #3 is fair; we don't have any L-16's yet, but that's coming soon.

100% agree, fusing team tactics and player tactics/leveling together is just necessary for success. the Pride accomplishes that by all being established contacts outside of the game. From day one, we joined up knowing that we were buying into a team philosophy, and we've adjusted tactics to fit player talents and vice versa. If I had to pick a reason why we win most games where we're statistically evenly matched, that would be it.

GG Flames. We were fortunate in holding onto the ball and the lead late.

Sea Turtles have a five game winning streak and increased stadium parking now that they are the only team in town. It'll be curious to see if we make the top 10 power rankings.
