Strength: 52.97
Speed: 74.7
Tackling: 49.91
Agility: 68.1
Jumping: 38.78
Catching: 21.4
Stamina: 34.94
Vision: 53.08
Confidence: 25.08

Currently working on a swat ball/speed AE since the only SA's I'm considering investing in are shed block and swat ball.

vision to 60

the guy who jerks off to speed is preaching vision now, when he only has 74 speed? You're so confused.

No, I just preach good LB play. Obviously that fact is lost on you. I have been ahead of the curve with the changes to the game all season long in regards to this attribute having a significantly increased effect noticeable at the highest levels of the game.

I'm here to help people. Not sure why you are here but to spit in my shadow.

I don't know that I'd say they suck, they seem to get pretty good production for LOLB's, better than my guy for sure. I think some of his advice might be a little off base depending on what position the LB's playing, but it's pretty parallel to my thinking for OLB's. TE's are always going to have an advantage over LB's, so OLB's are at a disadvantage compared to a MLB/ILB who is in coverage less often. I'd compare OLB's stats more to CB's than MLB/ILB's, because they're really more of a hybrid position in GLB. I've often thought about building a SS/FS as an OLB since the OLB's SA's are complete crap for coverage.

again. This thread was started as how not to screw up a linebacker in the early going and the resulting manifesto has certainly taken a few turns since. I find it hilarious that some find my ability to adapt to changing landscapes of GLB LB behaviors and relative value of one attribute over another as crawfishing back out of my earlier assessments. Some just have an axe to grind though.

Again my original point being that you can plug and play a linebacker in the early stages in any linebacker position and be content with the resulting play.

wait so now you're going to turn this back around on me? Remember way back on about page 4 or 5, when I actually liked the idea. and said it made sense? Build like a corner? with speed agility and vision first. Then you politely told me I don't know how to read? and Then you told me the same exact thing I said again but in a different way?

Speed agility and vision. you're not some fucking super genius, that's what makes every defensive position great. and with the vision tweaks to the defensive line it even makes vision great for ends. So basically every defensive position in the game starts with speed agility and vision. Depending on what position you play you branch from there. It's not rocket science. maybe you're mad because you can't find quality linebackers. I don't blame you, we can't either. But you started this shit, don't turn it around on me. I actually agree with this. You just have a big head and think you know everything about this game. When Having speed agility and vision is no more obvious on defense than not wanting to stick things up your butt hole.

Regarding your original intent: yes, I think it's still completely valid. I have no objections to agents using your build guide even up to level 30.

I think it's pretty obvious that speed/agility/vision are vital for a high leveled LB, especially if you're playing in a good league (not beating on the slow-builders in the A/BBB levels). Anyone who thinks otherwise has no business building a defensive player.

Before this season, I started putting some points into Aura of Intimidation and Shed Block (especially Shed Block) and my production has increased quite a bit, even against better competition. My speed/agility is 2nd capped (+60.5) and my vision isn't too far off. I'm planning on bumping my three cores to the 3rd cap next season, but I wonder if sacrificing two points in agility or vision and putting them into the aforementioned SAs would be of greater benefit? I could almost make up the points through daily training over the course or a season (it'd take 50 days to train two 60+ stats up 2 points each).

Dude, if you agree with what is being said, why are you still lurking around and what was the point of posting in the first place? You've gayed up just about every thread on the PT forums with pointless dicksucking posts, weak insults, and worthless advice.

People aren't arguing with you because you're some worthy opponent that they want to debate, they argue because you're fucking annoying. Just stop.

That's pretty cool how he got pancaked. if you're a linebacker getting pancaked it's a joke.

Im a hater? lol that's fine. call me what you want. But you take one play where he got pancaked, the whole team got beat, and he caught up from behind after he got off his ass. I'm just speaking truth. Being a hater would be if my linebacker wasn't better than his in the first place.
