You don't really want to talk about the leagues until the playoffs anyways as listening to league talk is ultimately boring during the season. It leads to just running down the scores and people tune out. Best to wait until like the CCG games of all the leagues and kinda do some small talk about who the best teams were and any surprises that happened during the season or in the opening rounds of the post season and who is expected to win and who the underdogs are. Then it doesn't alienate anyone and the broadcast doesn't become a big snorefest for a whole hour taken up by scores.

I suppose AI talk and what not are too complicated these days to lay out on the radio. So can't really talk about that stuff anymore.

Which leads to talking about things like the new moderator jobs and things that could improve GLB both the in game part and the forum stuff. Also talks of potential new game stuff.

there is just only so much to talk about though. So it usually leads to a bunch of drunks sitting around talking about the weather and sports.

Only time I gave a shit about the dot talk was when Mat Romo and some other random guy got into a gimp fight.

Soundcloud is free for that but it doesn't have a Radio feature

I like TN's thinking but as Dub says, the more general shows had the most success IMO

Specific shows alienate most of the userbase as there will only be a selected bunch of agents that are active in that particular league or leagues you are discussing. By discussing things generally relevant to GLB, you involve everyone.

Yeah, during those shows what was posted in chat had little to do with what the host and others were discussing on the radio. When we did mention something about the show or subject matter is was merely mocking them.

The people on air would say things like "we have X people in chat. great to see that many people tuning in." Meanwhile in chat it was a bunch of people calling each other f***** and making fun of GLB.

I know, that was just an example though, general shows were always the best. I think discussing what goes on in the forums would also get more people listening as that is the best part of the site for some.

Chat can always be lol "Moderated" but that was usually only done when someone Really got out of hand. Actually, the downloads for
those shows was Astronomical !!! Lots of people went back and listened to the show at a later date and time.
