Our next game against the Nashville Power should be a good one. Even though his team is almost all level 9 players, his depth is also almost all level 9 guys. The owner of that team also has created all 52 players on his team, so his depth is easily the best in the league.
I was looking over my team, and we have 40 players owned by humans, with the rest of the spots CPU guys. So we will need to rely heavily on our starters to pull this one out.
I guess, just like in real life, money can but you a championship...lol. I know i've already spend over 200 bucks just with the 11 players i own. I can't imagine what he must have spent on the 52+ that he owns. He also has players on other teams. I'm guessing he bought the 1000 dollar package, because thats got to be close to what he has spent on this game already. All his players have been boosted up, which gets rather costly.
In any case, it will be interesting to see the outcome of this game. If the Nashville Power wins this one, i'd say they are the favorite to win it all this season.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Thundertown Brawlers depth chart is looking better and better daily and we are still getting guys in. Just grabbed a level 12 cb today.
We are an underdog, that's for sure. However, don't let the paper full you. Even though we've had close games with not so great teams, our defense is superb so far. I'm hoping they keep it up the rest of the season and we pull out an upset to the whole conference.

Gl tomorrow Jersey, that's going to be one hell of a game. May the best team win. We play Nashville on the 14th or so...so...we'll be ready by then.

We just played the Nashville power, and here's a tip: go all out against their run. DEs, Tackles and LBs set to defending against the run. Also, setting your CBs to balanced is a good idea.
Their WRs and QB aren't that great. If you have a solid CB core, you'll be fine.

We added some much needed backups today, with a few more on the way hopefully before tomorrows game. Never realized how important the depth really was until the last few games when too many of our starters were getting tired.
Unfortunatly, alot of guys on our team have high level players on other teams. We should have them all on our team for next season, but i wish we could get them now...lol.
The rest of the league seems to be getting stronger by the day. Its a tough, competitive league. You can't sit back and hope to win unless you can keep up with everyone else in adding more depth.
Nice pickup with the CB.
I'm trying to keep our team with just friends, but am tempted to go out and sign some better talent in a few positions. But my guys have been very loyal and have all boosted up whenever possible, so the only additions we'll make are extra players my guys are willing to create. I think i've reached my limit with 12. This games getting a little more expensive than i planned on.

You really dominated that level 6 HB and similar O-Line. Jorvorskie will be level 13 and my O-line level 11 when we play, so I think the outcome will be slightly different

That's what I'm just realizing. My starters are getting tired as hell so I'm now working on my depth charts.
Good win for u guys today =) Grats on that big win. It was a close one.

Just want to give a shout out to the Atomic Wedgies. Hell of a game today. With 14 seconds left in the game, the Red Raiders Kliff Kingsbury threw an 80 yard pass to Tony Jaa for the game winning TD. I was watching the game and thought it was over. We needed the win and we got lucky. I'll take it though!

Like the Red Raiders... I want to congratulate Pecota on our toughest game yet. Came down to our last drive, where our QB converted four 3rd downs and we finally punched it in. The Skulls and CS Aggies are coming up. I'm bitin' my nails!

Our toughest game so far this season...and i expected nothing less. They are one solid team. Very lucky to finally get a chance to kick the game winner in OT. Only 1 1/2 minutes away from a tie game.

Yeah, that one wasn't quite 80 yds, but still an awesome finish. Never seen 90000 people go silent so quickly. CS is a tough place to play, so it's always nice coming out of there with a win. Hopefully we'll do it again this year!
