Then again I haven't seen a single person ask about GLB1 in GLB2. So there is that.

If dub and bhall both have Mighty Bralwers, i feel like now is the perfect time for a good ole fashion slugfest!
make it happen bort...
Off to suggestions...............
there you go, all this time people have been clamoring for things to do around here when their dots arent playing in a game. MINI GAMES the masses cried out!
if bort had simply framed mighty brawlers as something to resolve glb1 forum disputes this community would be thriving.

I agree 70% refund is bad and helped kill borts profits. 50% price with 0% refund makes dots a lot cheaper (more dots = more better) while still requiring people to eventually pay bort again to keep playing the game.
Honestly though a per-season subscription where everyone can get a bunch of dots is a better idea, especially with insta-79's. Plus you can auto-charge peeps credit cards unless cancelled (assuming this isn't illegal to do every other monthish).
And just to add a little something, GLB at this point should be fine to reduce from the current 57 day seasons to a more reasonable 49 day season (day 0 to day 48). Unless we are implementing real sim changes, no reason to continue having a pre-season imo. And even if there were sim changes, a 4-day preseason with a game a day makes a lot more sense than 8 days.
Btw I do agree with bhall that the announcement is likely just adjusting the natty pro leagues down to 2. I do think it's entertaining this vague quote about bort made a 12 page thread.

12x250=3000
33x500=16500
10x750=7500
27,000 flex per season if you wanted to do a whole team......could even go cheaper if you want more guys to be able to build out teams, 150/300/450....etc....
the kicker is no refund when retire etc.
Right now a QB's final cost is 10100 flex or $70, you get to play him for 12 maybe 13 seasons and you get a 70% game credit when he retires. Spider's suggested a 750 flex price tag per season with no refund. While user's lose if that suggestion were adopted they do get the satisfaction of playing level 79's.
What might work better all around is to avoid any changes to the current game mechanics at all. No changes to buying/renting CEQ. No changes to cost of ownership. No changes to the refunds, aging, decline, training points, BT, SIM or League structures at all. Nothing changes but the cost per dot.
Re-price the dot/boost cost to something like 75/150/200 with the option to accelerate the dot's age/boosts up to level 79 as fast or as slow as the agent wants. This means a fully boosted QB would cost 6200 flex plus CEQ and you could enjoy him for five full seasons before he starts decline. Then you retire him and get 70% back what you spent for purchase/boosts or in other words 4340 flex towards your next dot.
But take it one step further. Say I built an insta-79 QB, I spend my 6200 flex, play him for a season and decide I want to redo his build. I pay the equivalent of three boosts or 600 flex to do that and get an age credit making him 40 days younger.
Then if you really wanted to juice it up and get more teams on the board give each owner one new free insta-79 dot for every season he renews.
You see I'm not interested in cutting hurting anybody money wise, changing the SIM or the interface or anything else about the game. I like the game the way it is. I can deal with the interceptions or quirky special team blocking. I just don't like waiting a year to build a dot to do it.
