I still say Bort had a little football sim project for kicks and when Farmville/Angry Birds/whatever came out and he saw the masses($) flock to it he had a "WTF?" moment and started up GLB. Correct me if I'm wrong.
He got some masses seeking their feel-good/accomplishment fix as he expected, but he also got as many football fans looking for a place to take football strategy/play simulation to a new level for the non-joystick crowd. Challenge seeking competitive types. Like you might find around....... football mebbe?
He ain't figgered out what to do yet......
I've suggested and argued plenty already. Most of you know my list of GLB's issues and shortcomings so the bottom line is this.....
If GLB1 is all it's ever going to be, I'm crossing below 10k flex now on my way out.......

They started GLB because of Cyberdunk.

Holy fuck. Is this still going on? State of GLB is the same as it's been since it left beta. No Changes, declining user base, CPU's everywhere, dev working on other projects. What does Bort logging in here do to change any of these facts? Everyone already knows this and only a complete idiot believes that any of it will change. WTF people? Get over yourselves. Nothing is owed to any of us after 6 years. Don't like it? Leave or STFU, simple as that. Lock this bullshit up so someone else with a misplaced sense of privilege can start a new bitch and moan thread tomorrow.

I have spent plenty of money and got 6 years of playing out of it so far....so did you... eventually everything changes or goes away. Take it for what it has become, get over it, move on. It's called life bro, live it.
