In the old days it would have been winning the forums, but now that's not a trophy worth winning.

yep, you try and get yourself excited to do something.............then the time comes and you just don't care enough to do anything.

Saban emphasized the difficulty of repeating and said he showed the players a video of NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan saying that the first title isn't the hardest -- it's the ones after that.
That's because, Saban said, "you have to have the will to fight against yourself."

true, but they also get paid to do it. it's their job/life.

In theory they're not getting paid in college, at least not in money (hello Miss Alabama!). The big difference there is that winning something in actual sports is memorable and significant. Winning GLB is like winning a fantasy sports league.

Guess to some people it's a life accomplishment and they can't stop pining about it because otherwise their life is fairly drab.

Good grief. You should admit you were wrong for running your mouth about how good your coordinators supposedly were and how this was going to be the season Chicago finally made the playoffs. You should also apologize for running your mouth while continuing to be a constant failure instead of listening to what I suggested and keeping your mouth shut until you've done something worth talking about.
Once again, I suggest you read the OP again, perhaps 3-4 times until you comprehend it. It's like talking to a crazy person jd... ffs...
1 line in a post =/= running my mouth, is not something I'm going to appologize on a dotball forum for, and having confidence in coordinators is something all owners should have so certainly not something I regret.
If I remember correctly (I could be mistaken), you were not silent in GLB until s31. Your constant hyperbole is rediculous. We've already had the conversation about all "success" being relative unless we are talking about winning a WL championship (though I understand that topic went over your head as understanding different view points seems to be beyond you're impeccable logic).
My failure in GLB overall is no more constant than my success. Though I understand this is a concept you'll find difficult to understand.
