I just ran the numbers and my dcing from season 24 is #1 all time for fewest points allowed for any wl champions 4 game playoff run.

lol, you just posted a preseason game, after that game I slapped on slow starter to about 35 dots and its further proof how adapting to the sim makes or breaks people, thats why you are good, you make a good defense and just win the games you should, the champs actually go out and adapt and win when it counts

Even if you gameplan and scout, you're still foolish to take risks and try to guess which plays are going to be run except in certain situations (as noted, 3rd/4th downs). In a computer game any team can be the patriots.
okay, now we are back talking about game mechanics not real football. To my point it is only more effective to play a vanilla defense if you don't feel like game planning. You can't cover both the pitch and deep pass at the same time unless you leave the middle wide open, but that comes back to scouting and game planning.

Yes, that was a very offensive sim and you shut teams down in season 24 playoffs. good thing the sim is in the defenses favor now. The garudas D that season was awful.
