Playoff change would be awesome for the amount of crying that would invariably happen on the forums, I'd +1 just to read funny posts on main.


ya i dunno what to expect next season...but money would be on passing being at an all time high.

Maybe we're looking at some of this wrong. Instead of just lowering the risk threshold for targetting a single covered receiver, how about instead it lowers over time, kinda like a clock in the QB's head that tells him to throw it so he's not holding the ball for 50billion ticks but he doesn't automatically throw it to the first single covered receiver as well

If I find single coverage in the first progression or 2, the ball should be flung unless there is a guy completely uncovered elsewhere.

We are extending the off-season through day 50 (Monday, June 11th) to allow users a small amount of time to test and provide feedback to the sim changes we are implementing (these will be moved to the live server tonight at rollover). -- specific issues with play by play links showing issues and why you think this is an issue
-- specific recommendations to address issues

If you do send a feedback pm that meets the above criteria, your team flex bank will be credited for the scrimmage that you ran. If you don't send in a pm or send in a pm that is insufficient in terms of the feedback provided, you will not be given a team flex bank credit.

We want the sim to look as good as possible and this is why we are extending the off-season and giving all of you the opportunity to provide us feedback. In order to allow discussion of this process in one central location, we have created a discussion thread here: Extended off-season discussion thread. Please keep all discussion regarding this topic there. If you have specific feedback you want us to address, it is best to follow the above procedures we have listed as that will be our main avenue for evaluation.

Ok, we shall see in the next few days if this has been worked out. Had to schedule a few scrims for comparison, and will hopefully be able to see some sort of difference.

Ok, has anyone tested the new "updates" to see if this is "better" or "worse"?

Please share as I am really wanting to get some feedback

Depends on the level, but it's better, below pro, just not at a "Fun" level.

Looks pretty good to me so far. I haven't really checked lowest leagues, but looks better overall I guess.

I haven't really watched that many games, so I may be completely wrong... but that's my first view.

I was going to ask for a improovement on lower leagues, but bort just increased it today, so I"d rather test before saying anything

I tested on the test server. ~ 60% bad pass when hurried and that's with 9 pocket presence

It really doesn't seem to be much anything like the test server tbh. At least from any game that I ran...even the one in which you sack raped that QB on Team1 it didnt look that bad.

huh

60% is to high. My suggestion to fix was players with high confidence should have a rate near 20%. Someone else commented that Pocket Presence needs a buff

If you force 20 Hurries, 12 of the will be bad pass incompletions. He could be throwing even more bad passes but remember the sim won't label them bad pass unless it wasn't caught

Still seems to be a booger with the applied hurried distance IMO.
Should a DT or DE (or any defensive player) still be able to log a hurry if he is still being blocked by one, and at times two blockers?

Not as bad as it was before, but if this could be addressed it would be perfect.
Give credit where credit is due, and eliminate hurries that basically should not occur if the defensive player doesn't have a direct line on the QB.

To add, I have seen a defensive player cause a hurry and then get pancaked right afterwards.
