Every time this has come up I've disagreed with it. And it's come up a lot.

You know what?

Screw it.

You can still leave your Tactics closed. I'm not taking that choice away from you. Why do you want to deny me the choice to have my Tactics be open?

Somehow I think that if Bort set all of your dots to "Hide ATTRIBUTES From All" and then took that pull down menu away from you, you'd be annoyed.

That's exactly what he's saying. Or atleast what your saying by putting in his mouth. If you put your dot on the team the least you could do is tell him what your tactics.

He's not taking anything AWAY from you, because it's not an option yet. The fact of actual communication between an offensive/defensive, coach, owner, and his players is INSANE. With the lack of activity in forums it goes from I'll check my team forum from time to time, or wait on a team alert to my owner can PM me whenever I need to change my tactics. Claiming a person who wrote -1 took away an option in which isn't reality is entertaining. He could probably argue the opposite claiming you forcing something upon him.

Somehow I think that if Bort didn't agree with your suggestion you'd be annoyed and insult him.

I think your "logic" linking open builds and open tactics is flawed also. I'm still skeptical about the choice actually still belonging to the agent after this change. People generally understand why builds are closed (so nobody copies their 'awesomeness'), but it is much harder to justify why someone would want their tactics closed unless they are choosing not to set them. So to repeat to ad nauseam this equivalence is misleading. I challenge you to keep your tactics private on all your dots after this change and see what happens if you really don't think that problems will arise from it.

Overall though, this is a fine change (I've got good owners atm). And whilst we're at it, I'd like to make my equipment page open for viewing also so people on the team can see what I've got and am working on.

For some reason I just don't get why not many people see this ?

+ Whatever I'm worth.

Tired of watching replays and wondering if a dot has a build issue or is on the wrong tactics.

All I can see this doing is helping active owners/coaches/agents get on the same page and not be screwed by stat hoes.

Hmm... kinda like what you just did with me?

Bort already disagrees with my Suggestion; he's made that clear on multiple occasions. I'm trying to get him to change his mind. That right there is good enough reason not to insult him -- which I haven't done and have no plans to do.

Let me know when you're done playing armchair psychologist so we can actually debate the Suggestion itself, please, rather than debating over how I'm debating it.

Kinda odd... there's nothing wrong with voting -1 if you don't agree with it, ya know. Despite what KingInExile seems to think of me, I'm not going to issue a fatwa against you and hunt you down or anything.

Being a ;omg time owner,GM,OC,DC and agent, this should have been in original game design. Some agents that keep builds closed have made me suspicious of WHY? If their builds suck, they need some help or explain why. The Arche. thing, eff.lvl, and scout report can help choose the best dot for a spot, but it can be made better or worse with tactics. I would like to see what their doing and offer advice to help the TEAM. This is a team sport, not a single player game. I have never benched a dot for not showing build, but did lower him on DC. Might do the same for tactics. A CB playing agg.coverage who keeps getting beat and no picks, will not be playing #1 CB, despite what his build is. As it is now, I have to guess if he's using posted tactics or not, and make DC decisions based on it. I have open forum and answer any agent that wants to talk and discuss anything. Good, trustworthy agents would have no prob with tactics and builds open to owner,GMs or team. The team that has a bunch of stat monsters doing what they want,is not a TEAM. Thanks Novus!

OFFICIAL GLB SUGGESTIONS VOTING SO FAR

Official votes as of Monday 1/24 1:00am Eastern Time:
FOR: 1,621 (83.51%)
AGAINST: 320 (16.49%)

Considering there's a couple of Suggestions that were implemented based on a FOR-percentage in the 60s, I'd say 83.51% FOR is pretty good for implementation.
