Dude, Zeta would have 4/5 of the worst teams in the WL.

You honestly have to be arguing just to support your original assertion. In what world is that Alpha not ridiculously stacked?! As I said, you can't go by Niboris' rankings from the season prior.

If you stack one conference, and leave the other with all middle tier teams, you're going to have the illusion of parity within the league. This is why people think this season is the most competitive. The teams in each conference are pretty evenly matched, but the conferences might as well be two different leagues.

No. I freely admit that Zeta is currently much better than Alpha. But, if you did it based off the rankings, the discrepancies between the two leagues would be even better. You can't use last year's rankings. You just can't.
