That's the 3rd or 4th game in our short history we've won statistically but lost on the scoreboard. Your defense stepped up big time snagging those INTs to get us off the field, and who knows what you did to make our kicker miss 2 attempts in 1 game..the guy's been money since late last season lol. Again, well played and g'luck going forward. We hope to get another chance at it during the playoffs!

Isn't it amazing how all the Clamchowders have gone silent after talking so much preseason smack? Typical behavior for those folks, run and hide as soon as things turn south on the gridiron.

Don't worry, give them a few games now that they've gotten past this tough stretch in their schedule they'll get on a win streak and show back up.

Omaha Shockers v Houston Outlaws
19-15 Shockers

Once again the shockers pull another big win from a very tough opening schedule. This game highlighted both teams run defense and pass offense. Omaha got on the board quickly with the only TD of the game coming in the 1st quarter. But unlike Omaha, Houston's offense seemed to pick up as the game went on. Omaha's defense would bend but not break, allowing 3 field goals in the 4th quarter.

The late heroics of its special teams. After hitting a 40.5 yd field goal, they forced a fumble on the kickoff allowing them to quickly hit another field goal.

Play of the game Omaha -
Highlight for Omaha came late in the 4th quarter. With a minute thirty nine remaining, Houston forced it's way to Omaha's 10 and half. Needing a TD to take the lead, it was all or nothing for Houston, but Omaha would not break. On 3 straight pass attempts the Omaha defenders knocked them down, forcing a 4th down that Houston could not convert.

Hollywood Stars v Houston Panthers
65-3 Hollywood

Hollywood showed up in full force to this game. Gave up only 8 yards rushing and had a total of 534.5 yards on offense. Not much else to break down here.

Cary Carpetbaggers v The Elite Sea Team
38-6 Cary

What had potential to be game of the week turned into quite a one sided game as the Carpetbaggers prove they belong atop the West. Again defense is key out west as Cary held the rush to 10.5 total, while rushing for nearly 200 yards. Cary held Sea Team to 2 FG's and even forced a safety.

Kansas City Wiz v El Paso Bandits
14-12 Bandits

Bandits pull an upset on a struggling Kansas City Wiz. Fueled by a pair of 2nd half touchdowns and an excellent defensive showing, the Bandits made their getaway. Kansas City had plenty of chances to win this one, including two missed field goals from their star kicker, and two chances late in the 4th quarter to march down the field. Give the Bandits credit for the win, as 3 timely interceptions helped fuel the offense. I hope the wiz can bounce back from a ruff start.

Scranton Tunas v BC Lions
10-6 Lions

Lions pull out an amazing late victory! After an extreme defensive battle, one side finally breaks. Up until late in the 4th quarter Scranton had held BC to less then 50 yards rushing and about 100 yards passing. After a missed field goal by Scranton with 3min left in the 4th, BC goes 3 and out and punts back to Scranton. BC turns around and holds Scranton to a 3 and out and with a minute fifty five left forces another punt, but Scranton picks up a fumble and gets the ball back. Not to be denied its last shot, BC holds Scranton one last time, forcing a punt with 11 seconds left. That set up BC on its own 17 with 5 seconds to go. One play later, BC had won the game and Scranton goes home with the L. Great game, you should all have a peek at the play by play.

Really don't know where you get this crap about our team talking crap all offseason. In fact nobody talks about our team more than you, every other comment you make is about our team, typical behavior from a State fan, nothing interesting with their team so they spend all of their time talking about somebody elses.

But it is a good observation, we have gone silent. I haven't posted in here in 2 whole days, unlike you I am not on here every 30 seconds posting.

And yes, how terrible our season is. We've lost two games by less than a touchdown, and 2 of our losses where to 2 of the top teams in the league. But I did notice your teams loss to the Shockers, wait correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Jousters beat them, thats right we did.

WEEK 5 Western Conference Pre-Game

BC Lions vs. Riverside Renegades

The #9 vs. #10 challenge BC is coming off 2 big wins to include the Hail Mary in the final seconds against Scranton. But the Renegades are hyped up for today's game coming off a big blowout on the Oakland Terror. a 45-0 win is enough to pump anyone up. This game should be close but BC has been beating better opponents so I expect them to win this one in a squeaker.

Houston Outlaws vs. The Elite Sea Team

Houston is coming off a tough loss to the Shockers. Unfortunately for the Sea Team they keep catching all the washout from the Omaha games. So Expect Houston to win this one. Im going off the law of averages here.
Houston 37- Elite Sea 6

Honolulu Warriors vs. Houston Panthers

Look for Freakshow’s squad to have a heyday against the other Houston Team. Houston has done nothing to prove they can hang with the boys in the 3B9. Look for a one sided high scoring affair. And for the Honolulu defense to have record numbers in this one.

Kansas City Wiz vs. Scranton Tunas
Kansas City is coming off tough losses to their Arch nemesis Hollywood and El Paso. But look for them to bounce right back into the swing of things this week. But beware Scranton is out for blood this week after what should have been a win last week at home vs. BC. Scranton has been giving it all they have but are unable to prove themselves against higher caliber opponents. Look for KC’s Oline to lead the charge in this one.
KC 35- Scranton 14

Cary Carpetbaggers vs. South Texas Thunder
GAME OF THE WEEK Team Wayland vs. Team Tejas with the Tejas’ outnumbering the Wayland’s. Cary is not the same team we saw last season. After losing a heartbreaker to Omaha Cary came back with a fury to decimate the Sea Team. However will that fire be enough to hold back Team Tejas. South Texas is a very dominate football team who’s only blemish on their record is a tie with one of the most powerful teams in the 3B9. Look for this to be a close one. I have to give the edge to South Texas in this one though.

Hollywood Stars vs. El Paso Bandits
Hollywood’s only loss coming from Team Tejas in a squeaker. And El Paso being upset by the Lions. Both teams are 3-1 with the edge going to Hollywodd being how they beat the Lions on opening day. And that El Paso has not really shown that they deserve the record they hold. Putting up minimal numbers against bottom tier teams. Look for Hollywood to exploit them quickly.

Oakland Terror vs. Omaha Shockers

Oakland picked up thier first win of the season in week 4 against the newly owned/renamed LA Avengers. But is this going to give them enough of a jolt to get past the boys from the Midwest. Omaha has put up 4 straight "Shocking" victories against a very tough opening schedule. Led by there powerhouse defense and balanced offense Omaha has only allowed 28 points all season vice Oakland only scoring 39.
Look for a blowout in this one.

The Wiz are gonna' try to right the ship this week against the Tunas, but there's only a couple of pushovers in the league and the Tunas ain't one of 'em. That Lions-Tunas game was wild at the end!

We will not let up 35 points. There have only been 2 TDs on us all season and the one against BC was a fluke.

Brick is right......bogus predictions!

I kinda liked the prediction for the stars and bandits...but I think they will give us a better fight than that.
