Ha, yeah. That was odd as hell. That weird little quick-jump thing he did is new to me. I've seen plenty of routes get jumped before leading to TDs, but that one was different.

The good thing is our awesome MVP system doesn't account for TDs given up by CBs.

I already read it, do you think we really care who we play in week 1? If CV really had connections, MEM would still be in the WL. They were 9-7 and were in the 9th seed and beat some teams that did make the playoffs so it's not like they couldn't compete up there last season. Or are you calling CV a cheap bastard who won't use the 25 flex for a scrimmage? Face it, you likely would have gotten a scrimmage offer from MEM had you not been randomly scheduled to play us in the interconference game. We might scrimmage you later in the season anyway.

I invite any competition at any level really. I imagine we would have scrimmaged, but why not try to rub it in more? A regular season game can do that. Scrimmages mean next to nothing to me, except to try some new stuff.

MEM just wanted to strut their stuff and try to put me in my place. Whatever the intentions were/are, I hope they work out for you all. It's a no lose situation for me. On the other hand, MEM has way too much to lose in this one.

Yea, I think he'd want to reconsider the "no lose situation" thing now.
