you cant really dissect nfl stats...because its a process that never ends...Bernard Berrian does exactly what hes paid to do...go the distance on any single play.

I'm not reading through all of this but I stand by the assement I made to Rusty ironically on the CBMB a few years ago - BB is a 1A type wide out. He IS a good to great deep threat but can do other things as well. I'll pull the QB card because i've seen these guys on a weekly basis(and the Viks on a pretty regulr basis as well) I wish we could have re signed him because Berrian/Hester would be an explosive combo for Cutler to throw to.

CBS Sportsline has some sweet situational stats that are pretty telling... I go by them a lot.

thats why I wonder why you try to make the case for BB based on his stats....

going the distance on 3 plays over the course of a season doesnt justify the expectations on BBs pedestrian shoulderpads...

I look forward to drafting him as a wr4 on my FF team and trading him the second him and Favre hook up deep early in the season...

Might just be from the helmet chafing against his forehead.. I've seen several players suffer from this, on some guys it even rubs the skin raw until it bleeds.
