I wouldn't accept any scrimmages if I were them either. Keep them in the dark since the WL is all that count anyways. Besides the USA pro teams always seem to rely on the gimmick play of the day every season.

When USAPL teams consistently make it to the elite 8, or final 4 in said tournaments, this isn't a gimmick - it's fact. Won't be so true this season, though.
Anyway, this thread is over. It's established fact - confirmed by Hazy - that the OP's opinion of how things went down was effectively fact. Summary:
1) UBass - as he said - signed them up (not ITS)
2) ITS confirmed with Hazy they'd stay in.
3) Brackets released.
4) ITS, realizing the high probability they'd get pwned right out of the first round, does the chicken dance.
