dude Chad Pennington was throwing to Randy Moss in college

Who was Big Ben and Jay Cutler and Eli Manning throwing to?

I don't think the Eli thing is very valid. You have to admit a lot of his hype came because he is related to Archie and Peyton.

And he crushed that hype, solidifying himself by winning himself a SB

He carried that team by not being shitty. If they miss the playoffs this year then he's liquidized again.

By not being shitty? That's a real informative response.

He was the ultimate game-manager throughout the playoffs, he did what any smart QB would do, he knew he had a great defense, so he managed the game and when it became crunch time he made the plays he had to, to win his team the game. To bash his play during the playoffs in any sort of way is just ignorant. Like I said, he made his own name for himself last season.

He stepped up in the playoffs but Jesus Christ he was complete shit in the regular season. I'll be watching to see the Giants go 7-9.

I wasn't aware of the fact that the regular season was more important than the playoffs. That's news to me.

Well you need to play well in the regular season to get to the playoffs.

Do you consider Trent Dilfer an elite QB? He "managed" the Ravens to a victory.

Eli Manning beat the Bucs, Cowboys, Packers, and then what would of been the best team of all time the Patriots. And if you don't remember, Eli lead them to the go ahead TD to win the SB, so are you trying to say Trent Dilfer would have done that? Totally different scenarios.

Am I missing something? Pretty sure you have to make the playoffs to win the SB. Just because it's your OPINION the Giants won't make the playoffs next season, doesn't mean you can take anything away from the FACT that Eli Manning led his team to a Super Bowl victory.

But who's better the Florida WRs and Oline or the Ball State WRs and OLine. It's even. It's not like Davis is on Cal or something.

Perhaps but on the other hand, who is better....the SEC defenses that Tebow faced or the MAC defenses that Davis faced? I think we both know the answer to that. Given the circumstances, Tebow still put up better numbers. It's telling to say the least.

I'm not trying to take anything away from Nate Davis, I'm sure he is a pretty good QB...but IMO Tebow is a better overall QB than Davis. He's proven himself on a higher level than Davis has, and put up better numbers to boot.
