Actually I give Caps a ton of -- well, I guess credit is the word... he PM'd me every day for like 2 weeks when he wanted Flash to join his CPL team - even though Flash wasn't a FA and wasn't headed for Free Agency for another 2 seasons LOL

And I understand you are new to USA Pro but the owners/agents who have been here a while understand that BSB's GMs and agents sort of stick to a "no compete" policy whereby we don't put our players on other USA Pro West teams, which would limit his starting opportunities if that was something I was actually silly enough to care about....


That is not necessarily true. If your offense gets shut down, the starter will play 2 of the 3 downs before you punt. If your defense shuts down the other offense, the same thing occurs on defense. It also doesn't always work like that when there is more than two players on that part of the depth chart, especially if not all are playing on STs.

If you truly have a 50/50 split, then I am not even talking about that player to begin with. I'm talking about guys like our non-boosters who play nothing but STs...or close to it.

Every player is not owned by a GM, but that is a valid point where we are talking about someone who understands this game on a strategic level.

If you don't think that this situation (which I am involved in to some extent as well), is metagaming, you may want to take another look.

which is why I said would, www.comprehension.com , he had no players to ride Drago's coattails because he can't build a player good enough to be on his own team. I guess the rest of you can just be the ones hanging onto his coattails

You're correct that 50:50 is not exactly true as team on field play, ST involvement and Stamina play a factor.. it is a close enough estimate though for this particular situation.

And while you might have non-boosters who are "along for the ride" I can assure you that is not the case here, with my or any other player on BSB or Rage. So yea, perhaps your situation is metagaming or whatnot, but ours certainly isn't... and it was ours that you were taking issue with in the first place.

Heck tbh our former situation for the BSBv2 players was more metagaming than this one - we had an entire team to which we paid zero attention. It was just a placeholder to get these players experience every season while we built them up to prepare them for this league tbh. That was a much worse offense than us helping Rage out and getting them plenty of PT on USA Pro team that will put forth effort to win (or so we hope) at the same time.

And yea, pretty much all of our players are owned by GMs since BSB as a team shares EVERYTHING.
