honestly though suhgamer, do you think FP is at all an issue to someone with 7 players fully decked out? Get some friggen GMs to help you out if you "dont have enough time," SO many people are looking for jobs. But it just seems to me that he wants instant wins, so he'd prefer to stack up another team at SEVERE expense to his own, as noted before and currently by level 6 o linemen (level 6? honestly? people are higher level from creating a character day 40 of last season and boosting, then boosting day 1 of this season. A lot of effort musta gone into rebuilding that O line).

Now, I can't diss him because he wants to win. I also can't be mad because he put HIS OWN players on the Denver Globetrotters, thus turning them into a superpower over night. BUT, I can be mad at the lack of solutions to the initial problem that lfrankel seems to have given himself - there were many options out there that could have helped the Gangsters and kept things the way they were, but instead he's taking the easy way out and leaving a team in the dust. Sure, we can say "oh they still have all these high level players," but who's to say that any of them even want to stay anymore? They have been kicked out of contention for good this season.

That is where my issue lies. Not in the legality, not in the stacking of the team. It's in the lack of caring to find a better solution, and now some 15 guys have been left in the dust.

edit: this all being said - i don't hate lfrankel26 - i'm just disappointed in the way this all turned out.

Thanks for looking at the Gangster's players point of view. Frankel gave us no indication that anything was taking place. I found out when I started getting contract offers from other teams. This was not the best way to handle the situation, he could have given us a heads up that he was abandoning us.

So say I merge with someone this off-season you would not have any problem with it if we ended up like selling one of the teams?

There would have to be more to it than that.... Assuming GLB wants to allow as much freedom as possible for players to do what they want with their own characters they need to consider how it effects other players, both opponents, players on their own rosters, and teams in the league[s] effected.

This merger was wrong.
It wasn't logical or realistic and it both gutted and team and had collusion by two owners within the same league.
It's not fair to the players left behind nor to the other teams in the league.

I don't mind of players want to merge their teams but we need to consider the big picture and make it fair to all.
The details of such a transaction must be regulated if they are going to allow it.

I see so if the players were to agree to it as well like 100% in teh offseason and one of us were to sell there team we moved players over and made sure that it was not a totally gutted team, would it be a "good merge"?

At least if the team was sold in the offseason, a new owner would have time to put together a good roster that would be competitive but now you have a completely gutted team in the middle of the season which just creates more imbalance.

Good luck to the new owner.

I dont see a completely gutted team. The team has most of its starters except for a FP, 2 DEs, and an LB. Also, the new owner is bringing in 14 new players by monday so the team will have a full roster and 10 bench players by their game against DDT. They will also be better coached and prepared than they were 3 days ago.

I have a question.Where are the 14 new players coming from? Are they free agents out there right now or is another team going to be left high and dry to restock New York?It seems to be never ending. Not trying to throw fuel on the fire but this just leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

I have players on 2 Usa Pro teams and as much as I like playing there,I am moving them out when their contracts are up.Juts too much of a carry over from CD here it seems........

and their chemistry destroyed...and not nearly the talent they had before the transaction... thats gutting IMO

my definition of gutting... after a transaction[s] a good team is now considered weak...simple - it's not real football or logical...it's abusing the game and unrealistic

It's because of this attitude and prevalent mentality that exists in USA Pro, even among admins, that I would never want to have a player in that league. My worry is that, since this is the kind of thing that is not frowned upon at all, even encouraged by mods and admins, it might spill over into other leagues. At that point, I think I'm going to stop boosting my players and not create anymore when those I have retire.

I'm not going to get into all the issues surrounding this...but I feel really bad for all the players on the Gangsters, one day your on a top USA PRO team and the next your a WR playing MLB and getting blown out 86-0.
