Gonna be a few seasons though before I could honestly say my team could have a fair chance to take the championship, but the learning curve has swung in my favor.
Now I just need to build the players to support the new game philosophy.

all you have to do is make it to the playoffs...then anything can happen from there...last year i think we were the 4th or 5th seed...

I made the playoffs last season as an owner that took over in the last half of the season (was Cairns Pistons last season before the rename), but was barely into it long enough to have a playoff chance. My team isn't out for instant gratification though, howerver, we will be a force in the next couple of seasons.

Ps your team making the playoffs is not the joke. Fiji could very well make it and that will be decided in following weeks. You really need to win next two to be contenders or at least one of them to stay .50

It will be tough to knock the Flying Monkeys out of the playoff picture. We've had a brutal schedule so far this season (only played two teams under .500) I would your sights on our cross town rivals Sydney (Sydney's nick name is the Emerald City), there's no way that they will be in the playoffs and we won't be.

We completely collapsed from exaustion in the fourth quarter of game with the Bearcats, after playing back to back games aganst the Bandits and Strike. Expect us to bounce back as the next 3 teams we play have as many wins combined as we do now.

Definitely, other than the loss to Newcastle, the Monkeys played us (New England) closer than anyone else. Held our potent offense to 13 points, but luckily we held them to 6.

Regarding my above LMAO above, I was chuckling at the comments McSpiffy had made. laughing with them, not at them.

But I do appreciate all those who went the extra mile and assumed I was being an ass. Now I know who to run the score up on next season. I took over an 0-6 team that didn't have a player rated above a lvl 6. In two weeks I've managed to put a small amount of talent on the roster, and have a lot of level 12+ talent signing on or transferring teams at the end of the season. Keep laughing.
