Elaborating on his previous comment about his white grandmother and her prejudice. Barack Obama said the following...

"The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity, but that she is a typical white person."

Ouch. One of my biggest worries about Obama is that we'll finally get a minority in office and he'll enact a bunch of pandering policies and prove that he shouldn't be there. I always try to deny the thought, and even think badly of myself for thinking he might do that. But then he says something like this and it really makes me wonder.

Its like it matters I was just told for a job that I want to apply for, that they are going to be looking to hire a minority or a women. Its tough to have to work to have a better interview, and better resume, only to be told that they going to need to hire someone who is less qualified just to fill a stat.

In many cases that woman or minority probably had to work harder to have the same resume as you might have.

I am not supporting nor attacking affirmative action with that comment, just stating a fact.

To be completely honest here. I'm not that big on McCain. He wasn't my choice for President. But, at least I know what I'm gonna get with him. I can't say the same about Obama. I respect the hell out of McCain. If he can sacrifice five years of his life, just out of love for his country and fellow men in arms. Then I can give him four years. He could have came home when he was a P.O.W. but he didn't. He Chose to stay with his fellow soldiers over in that hell. He went through many tortures. That shows character! I want someone in the White House that truly loves this country. I'm not saying that Obama doesn't love this country. But, when it takes the media talking about him for him to put on an American flag pin... Need I say more? And the potential first lady? She admits that she is only now truly proud of this country. Not first lady material in my book.

If Barack Obama were to apply for a job with the FBI or with the Secret Service,
he would be automatically disqualified because of his past association with
William Ayers, a known terrorist.

He wouldn't even be aloud to protect the President. Now think about that for a second. He would be too much of a security risk to be in the secret service or FBI but he could be our next President!?!

I see the light. I don't want to be in a communist country and that is exactly what Obama will do. That is if him and his best friend, William Ayers, doesn't kill all of the white people first.

You can't blame Barack for something someone else said imo. I mean I disagree with the guy in a lot of areas, but let's make our decisions based on the issues, ya know?
