Well I haven't broken down the games yet, but the Pittsburgh Deatons have my undivided attention right now. They were always a good club, but they weren't going to hang 40+ on anyone.

The other question I have is Bones Jackson that good, or is Seattle's tackling that bad?

These two things, and the CPU Squad of the Timelords taking it to the Silver & Black were the three suprises for me.

Everything else looked pretty on par with what I expected.

Word on the street that is missed tackles are up do to S4 adjustments/bugs. Don't know if that's true or not.

Well missed tackles are up for people who relied on shitty tackling skill and "wrap" as a game setting.

If your cornerback has the 19 Tackling skill to go with the 60 speed and 25 Agility and used "wrap" to "roXor the boXors" off other receivers, you my friend are utterly fooked this season.

Should be fun to watch. Ludlow missed two tackles today, so you're right. They are up.

Our OL dominated that game gentlemen...our 2 backup HBs combine for over 150....and we didn't open up the passing game at all..

Tough loss Seizure and the Bombers. I'm sure you were just testing settings out and such. Good luck learning the AI and in your upcoming season.

Good Play Dusk. Yes, we're giving the new playbooks a test run. Though, it looks like you would've beat us old school, too.

Good game Badgers. With everyone working on new tactics, I know these games don't mean a whole lot. But maybe we are figuring out the new tactics. Good luck this season. Give the East hell.

It's D-Day gentlemen. Time for a new season of promise to begin for the 32 teams in the BBB#10.

The day will end in rejoicing for 16 and in frustration and despair for the other 16.

Who will win?

Who will lose?

Lets do this.

Good luck to all. Especially the Maners. Looking forward to a great game as always with you guys.

Thrashmaster started out hooking the picks up for the West but he hasn't been as active on the forums since he had to break up his beloved Abomination.I guess I will give it a try. If you guys don't like how I throw down, give me the feedback and I will let someone else do it. So without further ado...

Week 1 Predictions:

California Kings vs Tulsa Scorpions - Kings are the new kids on the block and are hurting for depth. Scorpions added some levels in the offseason and could shake things up. Pick: Scorpions by 50

NORTHWOOD TROJANS vs Oakland BlackReign - Coming off a 5-win season the TROJANS have added some skill players. Last season the BlackReign stepped up and took some teams by surprise. Pick: BlackReign by 6

Seattle Spartans vs Santa Fe Regulators - chargers01 and Mickyt1985 had a busy offseason adding skill and depth to the Spartans. The Regulators were my preseason pic to win the West. Pick: Regulators by 17

Oakland Silver & Black vs. The Screaming Snails - Silver & Blacks roster is still way behind the rest of the league. The Snails are always a contender. Pick: Snails by 27

Gilead Gunslingers vs Los Angeles Gauchos - Gunslingers are another favorite to rule the West. The Gauchos owner just sold them down the river so they're run by a CPU. Pick: Gunslingers by 30

Louisiana Blackbears vs Charlestown Chief - The Blackbears are a young team that has replaced to defunct Abomination. Uncle Buck has his Chiefs charging to the front. Pick: Chiefs by 55

Biloxi Dirty Man-Whores vs Warriors of the Big House - I picked the Man-Whores to finish 2nd in the West. Not backing off of that pick now. The Warriors have put in some work but not there yet. Pick: Man-Whores by 26

GAME OF THE WEEK:
Bellevue Blitz vs Orange Maners - Closest game to call this week. The Blitz are coming off of their 2nd Conference Championship game in a row. The Maners have come on strong in the last 2 seasons. Pick: Blitz by 3

And the Gauchos GM/DC didn't even notice his owner sold the team until dusk pointed it out. Well holy shit!

The Gauchos GM/DC, newly promoted to OC because the owner split, now has to scramble his ass off to put together an Offensive Game Plan.

I dont think this is going to happen. I actually think we are going to have a hell of a time trying to win this one.
