It would need its own energy/moral formulas. Would need its own break/make tackle formulas. would need to remove oop penalties. would need to be a completely new game if you did not want it to play completely retardedly/worthlessly.

Just imo, and that's why it doesn't have a ton of support.

Well, considering that our form of the idea will take very, very little work, maybe we should wait and see it in action before we decide what will or won't work.

Energy and morale issues would be part of the strategy. You won't be able to get away with low values in these. Only real issue I see is the OOP penalties... not sure what they are but would be stupid to have a 120 spd WR at WR running twice as fast as the 120 spd WR at CB covering him.

I think that for these type of leagues there should be no OOP penalty

Rather it stays in...makes for better gameplanning.

The Iron Man league raises it's ugly head. Vote No to this bastardization of the game.

Well, for the amount of dev time it would take to do this, a don't see the harm in giving players a new way to spend flex. Even if it's only half as popular as pee-wee teams, that's still a whole new revenue stream that wasn't there before. I don't see how it could possibly be expensive to create a new type of league, when the only difference between it and the existing casual leagues would be a 20 man roster limit.

I didn't want to be too obvious.

I think honestly the admins are scared of splitting up the player base anymore in any way tbh.

This.

It's sad. A lot of the initial supporters of this idea liked it in part because they were burned out on the regular game and looking for something new. Iron Man didn't happen in a timely fashion (to say the least) and now many of those agents are gone completely.

Based on the "ehhh I'm not so sure" response to this, I'm thinking that if we were to do it, it would make sense to maybe do a limited trial run with one league, and see how it goes?

Like you guys said, it's a pretty basic concept of limiting the roster to 20 guys, so I don't think it would take too much effort to set up. I kinda wanted to gauge the real interest level first, though, before diving into it.
